So basically what you're saying Red, is that it's their own damn fault and they should just get off their asses and work?

Yah. I really wish i could believe that 1313 was going to be awesome, but knowing Lucas arts. Hopefully now they can get someone to run with, if not 1313, then a similar concept would be cool.

I want some good, dark, grungy star wars gameplay man.

Well Blender is the one I've been using the longest, so feel free to throw questions at me.

Switch, depends on what I'm modelling. If its something really technical or needs to really accurate (faces are like that for me most of the time) I'll use a bg image. But if it's something that can be a little more freeform then I won't bother.

OMG, that last page was the funniest frickin thing I've read in a while.

Is it used to build/make something else?

Quite a lot in fact.

A couple mins in, and I've already noticed a couple interesting things. Such as, all the opening themes play at the same time (relative to the start of the movie) except one and Phantom menace is the quickest to have dialouge.

Interesting... this bears further study.

EDIT: Call me crazy, but I'm actually kinda really enjoying this. The upper left corner isn't getting a lot of my eye time...but that's to be expected.

Alright so then...

Not a spoon...used for entertainment...
Not a fork... been to space I'd imagine
Not a knife...also been to space...

Gonna have to go with...

Is it chopsticks?

I don't think I've been this attracted to a cartoon character...and trust me, that's saying something.

Technically it's being really really high up in the sky, while going really fucking fast. So you know...half marks for that one.

Huh...didn't know he was in inception...but then I only saw it once. I know him as that kid from Mars Attacks.

Yep, it's definitely quite the thing.

Haha, I saw that and thought pretty much the exact same thing...also... Meatloaf. Whatya know eh?

The guys mentioned Leap of Faith in comm a while back (Can't remember which one though hmm ), so I decided to check it out.

Really enjoyed it. Just a nice little movie with a top-of-his-game Steve Martin at the head. Loved it.

Definitely recommended.

Interestingly, I just gave another HBO series a try, and I was shocked to find out that Deadwood is just Game Of Thrones in the wild West.  (Or rather the opposite, since Deadwood came first).    Deadwood has that exact same "fuck you and your desire for happy endings" attitude that Thrones has.

Oh god, it's like every day I find another reason I need to watch Deadwood. I think the universe is trying to tell me something hmm

Breaking Bad for me, kinda feels like is someone saw a grimy concrete wall, and said, let's make a tv show based on that.

For the first little bit it's kind of interesting, cause you get to look at how disgusting the wall is, and there's kind of a cool piece of graffiti in the corner. But after a while, you're still just staring at a grey wall with some gunk on it, and nothing else is going on.

It's not that I don't enjoy grim, or unlikable, self destructive characters, actually I freaking love shows that can do that. It's just that after a while, the entire show feels like it's on a loop, nothing really changes, the characters are just bad people in the same way they were bad people before, living in the same grim situations going through the same grim loops episode after episode and they expect us to still be fascinated by how dark and grimy the wall is, without actually changing anything. It's pointless.

To bring it back on point, Game of Thrones does the opposite. The characters are unlikable and, self destructive sometimes, yeah. But at least it's entertaining to watch, and those characters actually do things that impact the story in a forward direction, and aren't just spinning their wheels being dark and grim.

I got to the start of season 4 and just stopped watching. Still haven't gone back. Have no real urge to either.
