That's what Jesse Ventura looks like now?????
I mean, I'm sure he's still a God-damn sexual Tyrannosaurus, I've just never seen him recently.

Do you guys have a list of films you still plan to do or are you just 'making it up as you go'?
I actually want to listen to it now
I ain't going to listen to this one
I didn't know they were recording this weekend. I can't watch it live due to a shitty connection. Can't wait for the Legion commentary
Pretty sure we in the UK can't watch things on Netflix but it is a film I've been meaning to watch at some point
The full movie? Cool. I listened to the soundtrack earlier, I'm good
I really like Bugsy Malone. Pretty sure Zarban does too

It might be a prequel but it looks like a shot for shot remake with Kurt Russell replaced by... Lucy McClane from Live Free or Die Hard? Wow, yeah that sounds really bad. But i'll wait till i see it before calling it crap. Not a lot of sf movie coming out these days.
You're a better man than me, I got no desire to see it
If i'm not mistaken a They Live remake is coming out and I remember reading somewhere that they might ditch the sunglasses part.
I'm not against a remake (though I think most are pointless) but how else is Nada going to know there are aliens kicking about? I think it needs the sunglasses. Are they trying to make a serious version of a fun tongue-in-cheek movie?
And The Thing remake or sequel or prequel whatever the fuck it is. I assume is just going to be another stupid remake flop like basically everything else these days.
It's a prequel of what happened in the Norwegian camp ( that just so happens to have Americans in it) It's still going to be called 'The Thing', which is a bit fucking pointless, if you ask me.
Carpenter considers The Thing, Prince of Darkness, and Mouth of Madness to form a sort of trilogy, so maybe you guys should do all three.
It's his Apocolypse Trilogy. They've already done one, so it should be easy to do the other two, good idea Invid
Listened to the Ghostbusters commentary again and are you guys ever going to do The Frighteners?
Prince of Darkness is great, very underrated. I like They Live too and I think In The Mouth Of Madness is Carpenter's last good film.
Pretty sure it warmed Vader's heart too. And his lungs, stomach, spine etc.....
I laughed out loud at that, Trey. Well done
Although, you broke the chain by not posting a Holden....
You haven't seen The Lost Boys or Labyrinth, Teague? I can understand not seeing the vampire movie as you're not a horror guy, but not seeing the Muppet movie? For shame!
Awwww, awesome! Congrats to the Dotys
(everyone is posting a Holden pic, so why the hell no?)
Yeah, I didn't get it. Not a huge Star Wars guy
It's awesome, I'd rather sit in that room watching a film than in the new crappy cinemas that I visit.
I just couldn't think of a better way to reply to what I just read, so 'wow' it is

Terran Anwar...?
Aaaaaaaannnnd, you lost me...
I listened to the Matix commentary last night and Dorkman mentions the Body Snatchers movies. I suggest you do the 1993 one. Obviously the 70s version is the best one, but re-watching the 90s one recently, I'm surprised at how good it is. Not brilliant, but it's worth talking about, I think. Hell, do them all, they not shot by shot remakes.
And I used to have a crush on Gabrielle Anwar, back in the day.
Shifty Bench wrote:I know I'll get flamed for this (I know Zarban doesn't like it much) but I really enjoy Live and Let Die. It's one of my favourites.
Yeah. I thought I liked that one until I watched it again recently and realized it was really pseudo-blaxploitation. Not much worked for me but Jane Seymour and the 7-Up guy.
I have it on Blu Ray and I still enjoy it. I had to use Google to find out who you meant by 'the 7-Up guy'
And I think Spiderman 2 is good and the best of the trilogy, so listening to that commentary will be interesting
