I always loved this one - its simplicity, mystery and terror - plus one of the very best tag lines.

I have to repeat what other good folks have said here in that this is one of my favorite Formerly-Known-As-Down-In-Front shows.  The four hours just flew by.

As someone who knows the mechanics of music but has zero natural talent, this show was such a treat.  Thanks for giving us a great "inside baseball" look at music in films.  You guys pointed me to many soundtracks that I must now listen to.

One small thing, though, is that I was puzzled that there was no mention of Ennio Morricone.   I think he does pretty good stuff, but, like I said, I am musically untalented.  I was sort of hoping to hear from people who know what they are talking about as to their opinion of Morricone's scores.

I hope you guys do another show like that soon.  Thanks!

P.S.  I think Alex is secretly a wizard.

I'm a big Mass Effect series fan.  The third one has its flaws, but if you've played the series and, in particulary, kept everybody alive, the emotional payoff in three is hard to beat.

I'm also a Half-Life fanboy, but it is hard to keep waiting for the next installment, particularly after how the series ended.

Portal and Portal 2 are also some of my regular plays.

Right now I've started with the Modern Warfare series.  Seems like a good ongoing storyline and the game is pretty fun.

Hi folks - My name is Barry Ingram and I am from down in the Louisiana bayou here in Plaquemine.  I'm a lifelong geek/dork/nerd.

I pay the mortgage by gainful employment by the State of Louisiana as an attorney.  My first and best love is probably all things Star Trek, although I like lots of other wide-ranging stuff as well, but mostly I read and watch science fiction related things.  Probably the geekiest thing I do is I made a Klingon uniform and headpiece and go to conventions (when I can afford them).  I've been lucky enough to hang out, drink bloodwine, and sing Klingon songs with the actors that play Gowron and Martok, and Vaughn Armstrong, who played Korris, the first Klingon in TNG.  There's a group of us in Louisiana & Texas that do the Klingon stuff, and we try to get together as often as we can to drink and do "combat" with padded & neutered Klingon weapons (bat'leth, mek'leth & dak'tagh).  It's a lot of fun.

I found DIF through another of my favorite podcasts, "Geek Fights".  One of your panelists was on it and plugged DIF.  Checked it out, and I think you guys are great.  I do love the "inside baseball" aspect by having folks that are in the film industry give us a different perspective on the films.

Probably, my worst injury was an ankle sprain/strain when I stepped wrong on second base while umpiring a high school baseball game.  I used the clinic-issued crutches to get to my car and said "fuck this" and limped for the next few days until it healed.

Pizza-  New York Style crust, most anything on top, but partial to onions and mushrooms.

Sorry, no sister, but I can be persuaded to dress like the Doctor's companion of your choice for the right incentive.

I really enjoy the show you guys put on.  Keep up the good work!

Qa'pla!

Barry Ingram
