So that just happened...

Now Walt's out of town for what, at least 8-9 months*? What draws him back to ABQ?

My guess is that he finds out Jesse is cooking for Jack's gang, so he comes back to town to kill them all. I thought there was a chance he would let Jesse go after Hank died, but now it seems clear that he has 0 interest in letting Jesse live. And Jack & Co. crossed him by using Jesse instead of killing him, so they'll have to pay for that.

Jesse told them about the tape he made with Hank and Gomie, I think Marie would have known about that, so maybe Jack goes after the rest of Walt's family to tie up loose ends. That would be a different reason for coming back than my first thought, but either way I'm thinking the huge gun is to take out some neo-Nazis (and Jesse).

* 52nd birthday in the flash-forward in 501, 51st birthday in 504, the montage in 508 was ~3 months I think?

I could probably handle some Audacity stuff, once I'm on summer break in a couple weeks.

I like the new name! Teague, good luck getting the new outro down.

I'd love to hear commentaries on Tarantino's last two movies, especially Inglourious Basterds. I loved it, but I have some friends who I think feel the same way Teague did.

Commentaries on Jackie Brown and Death Proof would probably help get me to finally see those tongue

While I don't have any suggestions myself, I suppose I better start getting involved beyond the intro thread anyway  tongue

I think Friends in your Head is pretty good, but I really like Magic Beans Talk. The only problem with Magic Beans Talk is I think it might be more movie-centric than what you're really looking for. Or at least storytelling-centric, which isn't just movies, so it can apply to other media, so maybe it is broad enough.

Hello World

As you can see, I'm Michael. I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Colorado Boulder--in fact, as of yesterday I'm a Masters student  big_smile . I have taken a couple of film classes, so I'm already more of a film snob than 90% of people I know IRL.

Been listening to DIF since Confused Matthew brought up the Intermission on Film Criticism where he was mentioned, and now I have finally given in to the demands to join the forum--just in time for the show to be renamed.
