Dude, YouTube has gotten really good at recognizing background stuff. Almost all of mine for this thread have been claimed by whoever produced the karaoke track, and Late Goodbye got a full takedown.

I'm interested in how exact their method is.  I didn't make it very hard, I'm tuned a half step down like they are on the album so I'm singing in the original 'key' (equally tempered tho, so does the algorithm even notice?), but I'm playing a totally terrible different accompanying piece on the guitar 'cause I'm not a very good guitar player.  So it's definitely my singing that they care about.  But also, I labeled it with the correct title? So does that give the game away to the algorithm?  Did I make it too easy?

YouTube's content ID system aside (yes, it's the worst, we're in a bad timeline, etc.), you sounded wonderful, and that's what matters.

I look way more solemn and deep than I actually was (sleeping 3 hours the night before does not help); Still, one coule argue Midlake's Courage of Others is not the album to pick for cheerful singing. Oh well. I have some ideas for later uploads that'll balance things out.

Now I was planning on doing a jazzy [Post Modern JukeBox] version of the Power Rangers theme but I got side lined when I realised that it would sort of work over The Cure's Love Cats bass riff.

(there is an awful delay running through my daw then OBS and compensating for that in my head phones is like playing with a speech jammer thing - my timing aint that off, I promise - mind I should have figured out the Power Rangers hook ahead of time. That on is all me tongue)
