This name has given me sweet dreams for years, probably even before Team Fortress 2 was out (2007). I can't begin to describe how frakking excited I am that this thing is finally being released.

What they're showing in that little introduction video is even beyond what I hoped it would be. Character posing, animating, facial animations, camera motion. There's everything in there to make videos as awesome as the Meet the Team ones (okay, the baby Heavy is gonna be hard to top).

I won't have time to test the beta in July or August, but I guess the final version should be out by September, and I'm gonna have fun. There's so much potential in there, and Team Fortress 2 offers everything to make crazy shorts. If they eventually make it usable for any Source based game (which they are apparently planning to do), I will feel like a God.

Sigh. Valve. These people are incredible.

Eta 2 years till someone makes a feature-film with this, mark my words. The final results look SO DAMNED GOOD. For such an easy to use tool, the image quality is early Pixar quality.

Wow - a screenplay writer selling a spec script could pre-viz his entire vision for the dumb suits at the Studio.
