Although we probably don't want Attack Of The mutant Cheeseburgers in there. As much as I dearly love that movie, it's probably not right for this.

Have fun with it kids. Keep in mind that my hosting provider is retarded and blocks data fetching if the number of external requests gets too high (hence the subdomain change). So if you click the link and all you get is a jittery spinner followed by nothingness than there's nothing I can do about that atm, sorry. If however you'll manage to get everything working smoothly you can click on movie titles to get some basic info about the films.

Is there any way we could set up a live chat and just watch the chosen movies together? Like "1955 EST everyone get your DVD ready on first frame of whatever and sign on to livechat. At exactly 2000 EST, unpause." For anyone who happens to be available.
Sites like disposablechat.com make such collaboration pretty easy.

1. Watch movie.
2. Post thoughts and/or discuss with someone else who has previously posted thoughts on said movie.
3. Add a recommended/curated movie to the list if you have already done 2. Briefly give a reason for that movie if you feel like doing so.

Well the initial concept was that everything would take place in this thread until we got our feet under us and Teague set up that dedicated forum section for us. However looking at this thread so far it would probably be a good idea to set up separate threads for movies. So I guess I'll do that.

I think probably the sanest way to do this would be to keep this thread for suggestions only, and after you posted your  first comment in the movie thread pop in here and throw down your suggestion.

And yeah, idea was discussion started as soon as the movie was posted.
