Just finished this podcast and I learned several things:

First of all, I do not feel as bad of liking this movie any more. Most people see it as plain old action flick, all flash and no substance, but this just helped me realized why I enjoyed it so much.

Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walking are crazy no matter what. I think that Lance Hendrickson should fall in the same category. Just look at him in the Warhammer commercial:

Also, you can get on to a DiF commentary by showing up when there is an empty mic and bringing doughnuts. So, what doughnuts do you like?

I watched Speed for the first time when you guys announced this episode, and it became clear to me very early on that I hadn't really been missing out on anything for the past 18 years.

The commentary was still pretty good, though.

Ya, I think  people seemed to have  missed the meaning of the title, "Speed", which has mothing at
all to do the the speed of the bus, it means the speed of the fast subway, fast elevator, and of
course a fast bus.

Realize, only the elevator was supposed to happen, but it gets messed up,  so the bus was backup plan.
