Re: Starlog Archives now online

I was a Cinefantastique baby myself, but I was aware of Starlog -- not sure how, I must have tracked down back issues for movies I enjoyed. I think it came up a lot as reference material in the replica props community too. Definitely plan to check this out -- thanks also for the Cinefantastique podcast heads up!

Re: Starlog Archives now online

I don't listen to it much, apart from the "mighty movie temple of bad" episodes. I'm not much of a SF movie geek anymore smile

Re: Starlog Archives now online

I just clicked a random issue and found an interview with Michael Dorn saying he doesn't think TNG will go past season six and the studio might well just bring in a new crew and keep going!

Re: Starlog Archives now online

IIRC there were contract negotiations needed for season seven. The idea of replacing cast if they got too difficult was always there (If they killed Picard in Best of Both Worlds, they had a second officer right there to step in when Riker became captain)
