In light of recent charming shenanigans in the chat and Sad Max thread, I have decided that we are big idiots.

There are so many musical people (and people with musical intent) on this board that it's almost a shame to let it go to waste, simply because nobody said we shouldn't. Fuck it: I say we should! Let's try a thread for karaoke!

Everybody in this thread solemly swears to only post cover performances which — and this is mandatory — they could probably do a better job of performing, if they just tried harder, or practiced more. There shall be no perfection allowed in this thread. Everybody's context for every performance shall begin and end with: "well, by fiat, all of us are off the hook for judgment, so... let's just see what fun can be had with this." Loose, goofy, campy, or serious; all are equally valid. This thread is intended to be a weird way for us to express ourselves, in highly dorky fashion; it is not intended to be a singing contest. I just want to drop in and say OBVIOUSLY this is great, you are all great, goddamn it I love you guys. I am going to bed but will listen properly to everyone tomorrow.

And while I could not participate immediately (I'm vlogging every day in September, fam, I can only produce so much video content in a day) you can bet there will be an Alice in this thread at some point. Singing with little skill and great enthusiasm.
