Re: Release, Record: 11/9
I actually like both of these (although I've only seen TLW once).

Wow, ToD and JP. This will be lots of fun.
"COVER YOUR HEART INDY - COVA YA HEART!!"
Short Round is at like 9 Goldblums.
Yay, I fucking love Temple of Doom. Its way better than Last Crusade, despite whatever Speilberg tries to claim.
And short round is the best sidekick out of any movie I can think of off the top of my head, which is amazing because kid sidekicks are usually terrible.
Lost world is more middle of the road, but it has its excellent moments, its just a really bizarelly structured movie (it seems to reach a natural ending on the island, then restarts again for an out of nowhere 4th act)
Indy and JP. Gonna be a big week.
I for one am excited.
Time to make up for G.I. Joe, Fig?
These are two movies that I enjoy and look forward to hearing the comments.
I have always been a big fan of the Jurassic Park movies. Even after reading the original book, I still found the movies far more appealing, in terms of structure and engaging characters.
EDIT: Spelling corrections *sighs*

damn would've liked to be there for these but 4am monday morning start time (in Melbourne) will be hard to do with work...
no more live shows for me, sadly. My laptop is knackered so no late night internet browsing for the time being.
I am not a fan of Temple Of Doom but I like bits of it (mostly the action). Willie bugs the nips off me, I hate that character. I think Last Crusade is better. The Lost World is a bit 'meh'. It's ok, but could have done with being 20 minutes shorter. None of that Godzilla rip off shite. Can't wait for the podcasts though
I like Temple of Doom, although it has been awhile (I saw it on a church outing, of all places- the other option that evening was Top Secret). Most of the flack seemed to be that it was a prequel and not a sequel, and people weren't going to give it a pass in certain areas like they did the first.
I love Temple of Doom! *does a dance*
Oopsee daisee gullee maa!
No-ones (?) yet given a woot for you doing a Jeff Goldblum movie - so let me do that -> yay!!
( though I do hope Godzilla US is still on your todo list ).

I don't have JP2. Neither does netflix streaming. >sigh<
I think Temple of Doom was less popular because it didn't have nazis in it. People love nazis.
^methinks Temple was less popular cos it full of a hapless dumbass woman. And whenever there's a hapless dumbass woman in an action movie, you just know... you just know when they're escaping that the darn hapless dumbass woman will trip up and cause themselves and the hero to be caught and then the hero will get tortured all the while telling the hapless dumbass woman it wasn't her fault (when of course it sure was). - of course I've not watch Temple for aaaggesss so I could be wrong.

In this case, the kids cause almost no trouble at all for Indy, Short Round even saves him a handful of times, and the incessantly hapless dumbass is the woman.
...because, you know, suffrage.
Godzilla (US) would actually be a natural follow up, seeing as how its basically Jurassic Park 2.5 (albeit trading Goldblum for Jean Reno)
the fourth one didn't have nazis in it and people hated it as well.
I'm tellin' you guys, it's the nazis.
The TV series had WW I era Germans and wasn't all that loved, so where does that fit in with your theory?
WW1 Germans weren't Nazis.
They were Nazis in training. Somewhere in those trenches were Hitler and friends. Hmm... I know the whole point of Young Indy was for him to meet historical figures, but did he ever run into a young Austrian painter?
Hmm... if the prequels taught us anything, surely it was that even villains aren't born bad?
Any clue as to which movies will be 'dealt with' this weekend. ?
Workin' on it.
I say just throw up the time, and let the films themselves be a surprise.
Workin' on it.

INCEPTION!? Holy fuck! YES!!!!
I've seen only 2 movies in IMAX. Fantasia 2000, and this. Tomorrow can't get here soon enough. Even if for some reason you guys hate the movie, I'm still going to enjoy myself because I know you'll bring your A game!
Alright! it's time get "Nolan, Nolan, Nolan. Keep Nolan, Nolan, Nolan!"
You know what would make a nice double feature?
"DreamScape" LoL!
