I watched that trailer a lot back in the day.
Is thing still going? Jeez
I missed the recording of this one, I look forward to listening to it
Is this underrated? It was my favourite for a while, Azkaban's my favourite now, but it's still second. This has the introduction of Luna( Evanna Lynch is from the same county as me) one of my favourite characters in the books which is a big reason why it's so highly rated with me.
Still not a big fan of this one, personally. And it's funny, because I thought I liked this one and Goblet a lot before rewatching them during the marathon. I appreciate the attempt to do a leaner, more streamlined Potter adaptation, but this wasn't the book to do that for. It focused on the plot elements that it considered the most vital, but lost out on a lot of great character stuff in the process.
Also, it's interesting to note that this was the last film made before book seven came out. It was released just a few weeks before Deathly Hallows came out. So it's the last film that didn't have the benefit of knowing what would be important to the endgame. I guarantee they would've had that mirror in there otherwise.
Re-listening to this one, it's definitely the one where the podcasters collectively went off the rails the most. However, as it's zany, wired going-off-the-rails instead of everyone just collapsing from exhaustion, I love it.

Here's JK Rowling's handwritten layout of the plot of Order of the Phoenix. Cool stuff.
Man...I was seriously punchy for this ep.
Heeey, the one I was able to be there for!! I don't remember it being super bad, but in all fairness I was also over tired and punchy at the time. Looking forward to relistening to it!

You were nowhere near Kyle's level.
I ... haven't started a listen of any of these yet, but ... I still can't actually recall anything that I said for any of these.
I know this is more for the Half Blood Prince, seeing as that's the one which can be used to actually show it, but using that film you can find that the Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley are in the alley between 12 and 13 Great Newport Street
Theres a really cool comic shop on Great Newport Street

The Prince Charles Cinema is very close to there - they have Harry Potter marathons, Aliens quadrilogy nights, Back to the Future trilogy screenings, and many other revivals. Everything except Star Wars, which they claim they can't get the prints for.

Aye, you can't hire The Star Wars films nor The Sound of Music
Just noticed that whoever was in charge of casting for the new play apparently agreed with Kyle's note that Matt Smith should be old Harry.
That's....not Matt Smith. Nor does it look anything like him.

A.) Yep, 'twas merely joking.
B.) I'm gonna pull a Kyle and insist that you're wrong while we stare at the same picture.
Ok. Good. I literally just finished those episodes today (on my annual DiF listen-through) and he was sooo wrong.
It's goddamn indisputable. Don't dispute it.
It's goddamn indisputable.
I don't think that means what you think it means...
