Re: #44 - Recommendations

How old is this podcast?  All of Trey's talk about Homeland is about 2 months out of date.

Re: #44 - Recommendations

Maybe this is too much...but can anybody make a list of the different shows and docs and such mentioned in here?  I'm half way through and I forgot to have notepad open to make notes, lol.

Zarban saves the day again. big_smile

I enjoyed this episode and its nice to hear online recommendations as well as movie ones, as getting to the theater with two little ones is nigh impossible and don't have cable at the moment.

Also, "Pitch Perfect" sounds right up my wife's alley, so will have to look in to that one. Though, i wonder how many scene crushes Teague has  tongue

Re: #44 - Recommendations

My wife showed me Pitch Perfect over the holidays and I was blown away by how much I enjoyed it.  It sticks to some pretty standard tropes, but it is very much aware of itself and at times subverts those tropes.  Anna Kendrick is great and Rebel Wilson is having so much fun on screen the entire time.  The script was pretty tight and all the musical numbers were really fun.

I was just as surprised as anyone that I checked out on The Master so hard.
