You know what? I'm intently not listening to this. I love all 3 Pirates films (not counting OST, since I've yet to see it, and I reckon it should've been called Jack Sparrow and the *insert event/thing here* instead) equally, and considering you don't, I'm not gonna let you ruin this for me like you did the Matrix sequels. Even though I heartily agree with the latter.

You can safely listen to this one, we love it pretty solidly.

I really enjoyed the conversation of story and character here. Strong work everyone.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean

It's starting to drag a bit on the second page, and I get the sinking feeling on the third we'll really drop the ball.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean

I feel the second page has already become too clever by half and overcomplicated things to the point that it's confusing when it's trying to be funny.

There still some good things in it, tho.

I hope the third page ties up some of these loose ends.

Warning: I'm probably rewriting this post as you read it.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean

There were originally no plans to have a second page, but there was such a demand that we felt compelled to add one.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean

As long as the second and third pages have Zarban in them, I'll read em. He's just so fun, it's worth reading a crap thread if he's in it.

I don't care what all think, this page is waaaaaay better than the first page. The quality of the smilies alone make it so much more awesome.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean

I haven't seen the first page yet. Is it really worth it, or can I just skip straight to the second and third pages? I hear it was just based on a forum about Disneyland rides, so how good can it be anyway?

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean

I've seen the fourth page, it's in 3D. Although better than the third page, it's an utterly cynical grab for more readership and does nothing new.

Remember back on the first page where the thread was about more than just the adventures of Zarban and his magical Tortugan foppishry? Ahh, those were the days.

On a related note, it's hard to express how much this delights.

You're being sarcastic, but I'm gonna say you're welcome anyway, because you're welcome.

Sorry about releasing that kraken. I just panicked.

Sorry everybody.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean

Yup, it's all fun and games 'till someone releases the kraken.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean

I'm not convinced about some of the character arcs on this page. I thought Zarban should have at least waited until the third page before releasing the kraken and Teague's betrayal sort of didn't make sense.
