Can you get the blu rays in America? They are the Theatrical Cut and you can get just the first film on blu instead of the 4-film boxset smile

I wasn't even aware there was a Director's Cut of LW... what are the differences?

I would like to request a commentary for Gladiator.

A scene where Riggs smashes his tv in anger, one where he takes out a sniper at a school and one where he takes home a new tv. This makes the first act too long and takes ages for Riggs and Murtaugh to meet. Especially when there is also a scene in there where Murtaugh is practising shooting his gun. Then, later, Riggs picks up a young prostitute and pays her to go home with him just to watch his new tv for the night.

Like I say, on their own, they are interesting (well, the sniper and the prostitute ones are) but they just make the film drag.

How about Danny Boyle's film Trance?  I'd like to hear your take on what does and doesn't work in the script, specifically whether the amnesia and the hypnosis count as two separate magic beans, and whether the casting of Vincent Cassel ruins the shift in audience sympathy that's supposed to happen in the third act.

Re: Suggest a Commentary 2.0: The Suggestioning

You guys haven't really done a Bond film yet.

My pick would definitely be Casino Royale. Personally, I think this is the best 007 movie.

(Also, I'm still hoping for Dark Knight Rises and Amazing Spider-Man soon)

Re: Suggest a Commentary 2.0: The Suggestioning

Well, it does have Ursula Andress and Joanna Pettet in it. That's always a plus.
