He said he worked with those same guys on Species...
Mr. Proof must be mistaken as Trey didn't say he worked on Alien 3
Thanks, Jimmy,
yes I meant to say that he worked on Species and he mentioned that in Alien 3. Sorry for any confusion.
My suggestion for Species for DiF dissection still stands though
No harm done
Species is a poor film but I can listen to Trey stories all day

Hey, there are thousands of starving children in China who would love to have Natasha Henstridge's boobs. Be thankful for what you have.
Didn't say she didn't have a nice pair. Best two things about the film

I enjoy Trey's stories as well. I think the creature effects in Species are well done, but I agree that it is a poorly done film.

If those are the two best things of the film, then we need to evaluate our criteria for good film-making
Even more surprising, they made more of those films...
Just watched Super 8. Down in Front really needs to do that and play spot-the-Spieldberg. First one to 20 points wins.
I'm sure the great Doty has mentioned this film before, but I would kill to hear Eddie join in on a round-by-round commentary for "Warrior" (2011). I'm very late to this party, but Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy, my God, they were amazing. It is a little long (2:20), but it feels like 2 great fighting movies in 1.
After briefly talking to Eddie today about it, I have to think it would make a phenomenal commentary with varying view points. I'm on the side of the fence that thinks it's a fine film and deserved a sequel, Eddie and many others absolutely hated it.
I hated it too. Nothing happened in that entire movie. And I'll never get that 3 hours of my life back! (or however long the movie is)
It really was terribly dull. I saw it in a dollar theatre in Texas on half price money and still couldn't help feeling a bit ripped off.
A Superman Returns commentary could be interesting. It wasn't an amazing movie, but big-screen Superman has never done much for me. I think Returns was the best attempt thus far, never understood the bizarre amount of hatred people on the internet seem to have for it. And as far as I'm concerned, Brandon Routh was a PERFECT Superman. I'm still disappointed that they didn't bring him back for Snyder's Man of Steel. The guy deserves a bitchin' speed-ramped, super-powered fight scene. And no, Scott Pilgrim doesn't count.
With the whole Batman recording, I came up with a new list of suggestions for our panelists:
The Original Batman Movie with Adam West
Sky High, for a more teen take on super powers and I think was mentioned in the chat
Hancock, for some more crazy Will Smith antics, and antihero fun
Superman was mentioned above, so that might be worth while, but I think that it might not go as well and some might think.
Anyway, that is all
The Poseidon Adventure....?
Haven't they already done Source Code, or am I imagining things again?
I coulda swore they recorded something for it, but it's not on the list on the site. Maybe it's one of the ones the laptop ate?

Any word on when we'll get more Harry Potter? It's been a while.
Source Code is coming out very soon. Harry Potter is less burny on our minds, but also gonna happen.
Coen Bros. I don't care which, but preferably something they wrote and directed. Thanks to DIF, I can watch and appreciate Kubrick; I'm hoping they can help me with these guys.
