I threw it into 'other', i thought more than 6 choices was too much. Are those your picks?

I'm surprised almost everybody picked Alien, it's my favorite (by a nose over Blade Runner, Black Rain) but where are all the Gladiator and Blackhawk Down fans.

As someone who has read Blackhawk Down several times (I wore out the paperback), I don't think Ridley was the right choice to direct, and he wasn't helped by the script or the cast.  Gladiator is an excellent film, but Alien is hard to beat.  I hope he remembers where he was as an artist when he gets around to these two prequels he's been talking about.

I hope he still cares about attention to detail. Watching the docos on Blade Runner, he's obsessive; but on the American Gangster commentary he praises the fake snow that looks... ok, and is very easy and quick to use. So i agree with Matt, i hope he still has the artistic traits that made Alien and Blade Runner classics.
