Well, I imagine this has to be Watership Down, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how "Hazel" is a synonym for "Watership" or "Black Rabbit" is a synonym for "Down". But we seem to have drifted into some weird metaphorical territory earlier with "singular beings" who are equivalent to butterflies....

Syno-what?

After my rather abortive earlier attempt I thought it safest to go with a scene from the film.

I believe Phi's movie is The Last Airbender...?    And Zarban's is Raise the Titanic.

Trey's answer was correct for mine, so he wins twice. In retrospect, influence =/= bend, and curve would have been better. Either way, the TV series was awesome, but we're only doing movies here.

Actually, that's not what I was thinking of at all, but I think it's a good-enough answer. (I was thinking of On the Buses, which I can only hope you've never heard of.)
