Yes, you read that link right. The Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs guys are doing the Lego movie. Hit the link for more details. This sounds like a terrible, awful idea, but I have faith in those two. They describe the tone as "if Michael Bay kidnapped Henry Selick to do a movie for him." They also made it clear that it will not be just a Lego commercial, rather it will use Legos as more of a visual storytelling-type thing. Hey, I love Cloudy, and I've been hearing nothing but great things about their 21 Jump Street film. This might be one toy-based film that's worth watching.

if 21 Jump street ends up being a decent movie, then they need to murder whoever cut the trailer for it. It's one of the worst trailers I've ever seen. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs was pretty good, tho.
