Teague! You mad bastard!! That's awesome! Which episode of which show? (If it's already aired, of course)

Great idea! Just looking at your list shows me how much I've missed and I'd love to see the gold in this mine.
My own recommendation is a bit paltry but I really enjoyed the responses and nightmares I got from it. One of my first posts here.

I fiddled accordingly, and I ended up actually liking the grey stroke once I changed the number from the temporary 27 to the real 14.

Howzat, guys?

Hm. I tried the stroke around the number and I'm not a fan. But spreading out the verticality of the front helps a ton. Thanks!

Also feel free to open and fiddle with the design if you want: I've got the master saved anyway.

So I'm designing and buying t-shirts for a friend and I. We've been planning on going duckpin bowling together for almost half a year now, and it hasn't happened because busy lives. So we've set a date in the fall.
I thought it would be funny (since we've spent a lot of time on smacktalk regarding our future competition) to have shirts when we finally go: especially since neither one of us has ever gone duckpin bowling.

If anyone is inclined, check out the designs below and let me know how I might make them look more "authentic," since I have no idea what sports jerseys are like up close.

Thanks!

PS my friend is from the Netherlands, hence the "nederland" shirt.

Please, five points is nothing. I didn't say it would be a challenge.

I think this quote was actually from the book Arya Baggins and the Half-Blood Prince. Not TV. Sorry.

One of my favorite TV moments! So great.

4:40 starts the short snippet with Goldberg asking Heston if he got any flak for his interracial kiss. Man, I love this video. I can't help smiling. Good moment.

Fair enough, but I love that game. Best part was having to think way outside the box to beat the time trials.

Nice! And welcome to the forum!

So I recently purchased a Samson Go mic from a person. It was great. Pretty decent sound for a USB mic. Then it just stopped working. I learned from the internet that the Go mic can do that sometimes, but enough people were happy with it and bought another one (it's only $50, after all) and many didn't crap out the second time.

Well I'm also willing to try it out again, but I thought I'd ask everyone here if they have had a similar experience or would recommend a different mic for hobby song recording that won't kill the bank.

This isn't supposed to be a full-on review. Anyone want to chip in with one, feel free. This is more to address a thought that's been munching on my brain since I saw the movie. About the movie though, I liked it. Some plot holes and ridiculous running-in-heels moments, but a velociraptor rode a T-Rex which was awesome.

Here's my thought, though, for those who've seen the movie:
Recall when the boys run into their aunt and Starlord, then pile into a jeep and escape the running crowds? Then the boys say "can we stay with you?" and their aunt says, "Trust me, you're never leaving my sight." and the boys point to Starlord and say, "No. With him."

Well, at the time it was a funny gag, but honestly I think it was unfair and would have been a much better gag had it gone the other way around. The boys say, "can we stay with you?" Starlord says, "Sure" (because of course they're talking to him) and they respond, "no, with her" indicating their aunt.

Why? Because all they've seen Starlord do since they ran into him was nearly get his face eaten by a pterasaur, get saved by their badass aunt, and then barely succeed in driving a jeep backwards.
They should have been more impressed with her than with him, only later acknowledging his badassery while he was foxhunting.

I just think it would have been more interesting and funnier to invert the trope than to go for the cheap "ha! She's not as cool as him!" gag, when it would make perfect sense to go the other way.
