Topic: Lord of the Rings: War in the North
Dilated Pixels put together this trailer for the new LOTR game a few months ago. I spent about seven weeks on it, building assets and random other stuff.

Well done, a really neat trailer. I don't like the direction the game is going (it's another generic fantasy game pretending to be LOTR) but I'm sure you're not in control of that!
I'm not one for computer games, but looks great and is cool at least inasmuch as it make more use of Tolkien's wonderful world. I look forward to the Hobbit movies, but I also want to see Tolkien's southern lands where the oliphaunts roam.
It's a weird ouroboros:
The Lord of the Rings becomes a seminal work that influences, amongst others, the storyline of World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft becomes the definitive MMO of all time and the most profitable video game series ever. Now, The Lord of the Rings MMO takes direct influence aesthetically from WoW's Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
FWIW, My brother and I are going through War In The North for the second time these days.
It's quite fun.
True fact: this is the first feedback I've ever heard about the game itself. Glad it's not a piece of shit!
It's quite entertaining. 3-player hack-and-slach RPG, with a compelling story.
I really want to play this game, especially now that the sequel comes out.
Yeah, you're thinking of "Shadow Of Mordor"
, which has a new sequel called "Shadow of War"

Shows how far behind I am.
I need to graduate...
