With Nathan Fillion playing Dogberry, my favorite Shakespearian character it can't be a total loss
Question: Who do you think Dani´s riders will be?
I've already said that I believe John Snow will be one of her riders but who will be the other?
Will it be Bran who will be warg(ing?) into one of the Dragons? I know it's super thin but that's my pet theory right now.
Hero riding off into sunset? Check
Wait what? Didn't Shane die at the end of the movie?
First official look at Evangeline Lilly in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
We also see Jon get burned in the series when he fights off the wights on the Wall - which is about the only argument I know of against him being Targaryaen. But I justify it because he's only half-dragon whereas Danaerys is pure (if incestuous) Targaryaen.
John was burned, if I remember correctly, before the birth of the dragons heralded by the red comet. Daenerys had a high pain threshold attributed to her linage but she was not invulnerable to fire. It's not until the birth of the dragons, magic is re-introduced into the world and Daenerys emerges reborn in the flames. Also she's the mother of dragons not a mere "uncle of dragons":)
But I believe we will see John Snow become one of the dragon riders before the end of the story.
Fist I thought John Snow might be Daenerys brother but as the books went on I started to fall into the Rhaegar and Lyanna camp.
Anyone know why the Sorrowful Men were omitted and the assassination attempt on Daenerys life was instead made by the Warlocks?
But now when the season is coming to a close I feel like the show owes me an undead bear. I was kinda looking forward to the undead bear and I feel robbed.
p.s. Where is Strong Belwas???
Warning, spoilers for Game of Thrones

It's popular here but I'm not really into it. My younger boy sing the Icelandic song way, way too much for my taste. But to his defense, he's 3 years old.

When did the movie become Van Hellboy?
Haha... love it
Snowflake, is your avatar a take on the Greendale Human Being?
But about Del Toro.
Sometimes I have wondered if his sense of storytelling skews more European than American. He has a strong base in Spain and to me his storytelling is grounded in myths, fables, folklore and fairy tales from Southern Europe. These stories are much more grotesque originally than the watered down versions we have come to know them as. Visually I would place him (like his fellow Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón) more with European directos like Gilliam, Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet, but with his own horror/gothic flavour.
But I am terribly sorry for derailing the conversation... back to Van Helsing.
Edit: p.s. I'm not saying that ALL Europeans love Del Toro. He's pretty niche for most of his projects.
Subscribed!
If we are nominating directors to re-boot Van Helsing
I would nominate my main man from Mexico… Guillermo del Toro
... for tribute!
