Indeed.

I read every word and enjoyed all of them.

Great review, man, it gives me hope for my second viewing. Just revisited the first two this week myself.

You also spelled stupid with three o's that night. It was hysterical.

Anyway, sign us up for the house next year. You have my axe.

I don't think anything, yet, but I'll mull on this today and hopefully have some thoughts by the evening.

Great post.

I dunno, man, if you made a documentary about me, I guarantee you'd be having to answer for why I started singing my feelings in the second act.

Well, let's fuckin' do it, then, shall we?

Call 'em "Create This Week:" 's, and give everyone a prompt, and we'll all throw something together. Shitty, awesome, whatever. Just somethin.' How many times a week do you have nothing to do for a minute and could stand to doodle something or take a picture? Nobody's on the hook for a masterpiece, it just keeps the blood flowin.'

I used to do a show called Memestream on another site that was something like this.

It was really fun while it lasted, after about three months it fizzled, but I loved doing it. Lots of arts and crafts ensued.

...

I almost want to frame that because I love it, but I can't, because I know Dorkman.

And Dorkman can't, because he is Dorkman.

Please take this like as the least I could do.

No, Ash, my point was "clearly that's not a swan because no swans are black" was more of a No True Scotsman argument than a Black Swan Fallacy argument.

Or, more specifically, my point is if we went down that path, we confused ourselves for a minute in the podcast.

That was when No True Scotsman got involved for reasons I don't remember at all.

Here's the rant I wrote on Facebook, mentioned in the episode.

"Can everyone please stop associating the Colorado shooting victims with Batman? For the love of fuck? Black ribbons Photoshopped onto Batman artwork, quoting the Joker and Batman? This was not The Batman Shooting, and just as you didn't see a bunch of cutesy yearbook-covered-in-blood themed memoriams for Columbine, you should not be seeing shit like sad pictures of Batman with the word COLORADO written on it for this.

I guarantee you the families of these people don't think of it as The Batman Shooting, they think of it as devastating, boiling red anger that had nothing to do with Batman and everything to do with an insane person with a gun. Imagine if this happened to you when you went to see Harry Potter, would you want to be summarized as an "always remember" on the fucking Harry Potter logo? Knock it off, permanently."

That is the nicest C&D letter I have ever seen.
