But only because I want to see what the big deal is all about. I barely have time to get into the live broadcasts these days anyways.

...what are you talking about? Life through one persons view must be like heaven. A lifetime permanently bonded to one viewpoint, no cuts, no timeshifts, no tricks. That's exactly what's so awesome about both of those performance styles.

@Brano: Nope, no sequels

@Trey: I'll check it out, the quick google image search looks promising.

@Zarban: No it's definitly not Citizen Kane, there was...something with like a snow globe getting smashed...but no definitly not Citizen Kane. Dang what is it?

\Love KiTH

@DocSub: I'll check out both of those.

The problem is that relative to the number of "films about gigantic killer robots by a film maker who has a long history of valuing style over substance", "William Fucking Shakespeare"'s are virtually non exsistant.

Hmm, I don't think it would be either of those. From what I think I remember the vibe it had was much of like eXsiteZ meets Cube. Sorta sci-fi, thriller, indie rather than straight up horror. Like I said I could have sworn that it was from eXsistenZ, but the movie proved me wrong on that one.

I'm pretty sure I saw the scene probably about 5-6 years the ago, but I think the movie was a lot older than that. Maybe late 80's early 90's ish.

I've had this image stuck in my head for years, it's just a single image from a movie. I could have sworn that it was from eXistenZ, but it wasn't anywhere in there, so now I'm really confused and I really want to figure out where this is from.

Basically, it's sort of like an old abandoned apartment living room, there is a couch on one side, and a TV set that is flickering on the other, the wall behind the TV is partially destroyed, and it looks like there is a lot of space behind, like hallways or something. These organic looking, instestine things are stretched across virtually every surface. It's dark and moody. I'm fairly certain the movie has something to do with this group of people running around in a game, trying to survive.

That's all I can remember. If this rings any bells at all, let me know. This has been bugging me for a ridiculously long time, and I really need to figure it out.

Well i just finished Queen of The Damned from 2002. And while admittedly not perfect, it was damn good Vampire movie. I had a different taste to it than most Vampire flicks, much more reflective on the consequences of eternal life while still keeping the punk/goth/rock vibe that Blade introduced. It was really fun! If you're in the mood for a Blade-esque, Vampire flick, definitly recommended.

EDIT: Just finished Hackers, I know I'm the last one on this paticular train, so I'll just say I loved it!

(And oooooooh my gods, can you say Angelina Jolie was hot?)

EDIT2: Just finished eXsiteZ...pretty sure I'm last on the bandwagon on this one too. But what a strange odd little wonderful movie. I enjoyed that thoroughly.

I pictured the off-topic series to be a little more free form and niche, with the DiF galaxy recording topics that they're personally interested in (for example puppetry, nunsploitation, or cakes).

Seconded.

Sorta, but I really need some stuff focused entirely on doing it in post.

As well as some good film examples of neck wounds would be helpful, I know there's a ton out there, but my brain refuses to think of them today.

Anyone recommend some really good movies to reference for creating fake bloods? Specifically emanating from the neck type area. Also any tips on doing that kind of stuff from scratch in post would be appreciated. (Like "I have to film all the elements myself" type from scratch)

Thanks again.

What's the life of the average guy in a world of superheroes and villains? Someone who never knows what the evil mastermind's plot is, he just has to call in the insurance claim when the hero punches Dr. Nemesis through his car.

Weird, I had literally that exact same idea not even a week ago.

Just created a group for Down in Front.

Go to steam, go to the community tab, click on groups, search for "Down in Front", it should be right there. It will show up as Down In Front(DiFPlaytime)
