Yeah, I might have to observe until I can determine the full amount of time. Rotating work schedule can be a pain to plan around.

The time commitment is one reason why I have not been able to do one even with my friends.

Can a space ship backfire? That's what I want to know!

I might have to try this, some day. When school is done...

But, it is encouraging to know that a complete artistic moron such as myself may be able to figure it.

Not saying you're a moron, Owen. Just that, I feel slightly more hopeful for myself.

Keep up the good work, Owen. I'm really enjoying seeing the progression, mostly because I have no other notes to offer than keep going.

And please, please, please, take this as the compliment that I mean it: with it textured, it reminds of the video game Descent ships.

I'd be willing to give it a try as I have been interested in attempting a table-top RPG for some time now. Online might be easier given my wacky work schedule.

Webcam is not possible right away, but I will be taking steps to change that. Still set for audio though.

Setting: I am down for either, though I prefer science fiction. I find already established worlds easier for me to immerse myself in to because I am big on world building and knowing all the lore and ins-and-outs of a world. But, the right fantasy world (not LOTR-yet...I probably could be persuaded without much difficulty) could draw me in.

Maybe a cyber punk style setting?

So, is it done?

I'm confused.

I love this idea, BDA.

I might not have the chance to watch this coming film, but hope to jump in soon smile

A little bit, which is probably why I like it. Also reminds me of a ship a friend of mine built out of Legos.

Also, don't know if you ever saw an Imperial Gunboat but there is a similar feel:

It's not a bug, it's a feature!

Seriously, Own, I love the concept, and would use it in a novel without question smile

Looking forward to more screenshots smile

^^

That makes me sad. With the tech nowadays I would think a biblical epic would actually take some opportunities to use technology to present large scale for something like that.

Oh well. Another missed opportunity.

I'll be downloading it and giving it a listen.

I have yet to find the time or energy to invest in GoT. The first episode I saw just made me feel ill. I'm not denying production, acting or skill here. I'm just saying it is not for me.

If I upload four 1.5 gb video clips to an undisclosed location is that workable? They're right off the camera. Or should I shrink them first?

If shrink them is the way to go, what settings are good these days? I'm feeling strong TF.n deja-vu asking that question...

I wasn't using any of my Google Drive footage so I just uploaded it there, giving Teague more than that. I assume after he said to me "rad man, thanks" he printed up my new headshot and used it as a dartboard.

Is that a thing now? I mean, can I get one on CafePress?

Also, Saniss with a guitar is killer. However, he also does a killer Tommy Wiseau impression. Maybe we could all do line readings from "The Room" as the next project? wink

That's cool! I know that engine is incredibly powerful so I am hoping that many creative people are able to have fun with it.

Everyone in a while a come across something that requires me to share the insanity in my mind (don't worry, the medication is helping).

I don't have any context for this image, other than Clone Wars, but one person is seriously under-dressed for whatever the situation is.

Yeah, there are a couple of movements where I cannot tell what finger is doing what due to the angle, so I apologize if I missed something (I'm sure I did).

However, her index finger and her middle finger do most of the action, in an up and down movement, like keying on a number pad.

Not sure if that helps.

Nice. Yeah, thought I had the flu, but just bronchitis and a fever. Took me out of work for two days.

Get well soon. Is there any other footage to review beyond what was posted with Tom's hologram?

edit:

First pass on trying to map the finger motions. The last part if very rapid, so I am sure I missed something.

Note: time stamps are based off of the holgram test footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgAzJKTpV9E#t=15

drew, how do you log a shot? I probably can at least record what her movements are at what time stamps.

Thanks for sharing, Teague. While I am not in the VFX field (my artistic talent is stick figures) I will be interning for my degree next year. The prospect is "The scariest thing ever." I've been married, had two kids, and faced some illnesses and nothing matches the uncertainty that I felt when my wife and I started planning out for the internship.

So, while not the same field, I completely appreciate the candor and honesty about the experience.

*should mail Teague a Diet Coke just 'cause*

Edit: if you see a double post, don't worry. I deleted it due to Internet issues.

Fun episode. Always nice to hear what content makers think of their own content.

And, Teague, while I know it is painful to listen to TPM and the other older episodes, but TMP is still one of my favorites that you guys did. Thanks for sharing!
