How Familiar are you both with the comic and novel side of things?
If your free Monday evening (European time) we'll be recording a Star Wars double bill on the reclassification of the Expanded Universe and of last weeks casting announcement.
we've got two free spots if any one wants it.
Am I suprised or shocked? No. Just disappointed. They could easily have done what the prequels done and kept the broad strokes. They didn't have to use Coruscant as the capital planet.
Next week we'll be recording our First Anniversary show we'd love to have all of you one. Especially those of you who posted on the first page of this thread
Extended Edition - 051 - The Legend Of Zelda
I guess Brian is already packing?
Extended Edition - 050 - Kevin Smith
Try to keep it under 3 minutes. Put the best stuff first. Go through youtube and see what other people are doing.
Don't be afraid to shoot new footage if you need to fill it out but it's better to have one amazing scene then one amazing scene and two average ones to fill the time
I recently read Heinlein's "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress". It's a really interesting tale of a luna penal colony trying to gain it's independence. Well worth a read. I mentioned this to my neighbour who loves Heinlein who wouldn't let me leave without a copy of Stranger In A Strange Land
they've been kicking the BSG reboot reboot around for a couple of years now. Does seem like an odd choice with the show being so prominent
I always loved the episode where Stokes and Tokes visit New York and Stokes falls in love with Joan Collins until Tokes runs her over...
So yeah, this week we got drunk
Does anyone remember what comm this started in? I'm blanking.
Pulp Fiction you non-fan
Brilliant stuff guys, loved it!
Departed
SPOILERHowever, I wouldn't mind hearing a commentary for tha Depahtahed. I was in college when it came out, and wanted to see it. I still haven't, because the guy who would become my college roommate for two years (and is currently my best friend) commented "Oh, that movie where everybody dies at the end?" when I mentioned wanting to see it. And there it went, spoiled for me. Ah well, I'll get around to it someday, but my motivation to see it died that day.
Yeah, you just did the same thing to me. not impressed.
This week crazy podcast crossover with Sofa Dogs and Tysto, you know like that time Torchwood and Sara Jane turned up on Doctor Who.
Extended Edition - 048 - Prometheus Commentary
So... what's it about?
I often get criticized for liking Star Trek Into Darkness
Fireproof, you suck!
If you play in a garage band with electric guitars,
you are bad ass and get hot gets
hot what now?
Scott Pilgrim Isn't ever supposed to be a geek. He has his own band.
Around 2 - 3 hours a month
Or maybe some of us just have the patience to stick with a movie for 90 minutes and see where it's going before declaring it "too boring
Oh how I wish this wasn't true of me. I could have done something worthwhile with that 90 minutes.
Thanks for that Squiggly, That is exactly the kind of thing we're after
Upstream Colour boils down to people who watched it and people who pretended to like it!
Oh man that sucks, I always loved the X-wing books I read, I've been meaning to get the rest as E-books for old times sake
