And, while on the subject, in AotC, the rescuing Jedi just happened to carry extra sabers, so they're probably not really that hard to come by, as there's apparently a surplus.

Oh, that I know. I catch the occasional Adventure Time, Gumball, Regular Show and Uncle Grandpa on CN. I have children who watch it, but I probably enjoy it way more than they do smile

We have the "What are you watching" and "What are you reading" topics, but nobody's made a game related thread!

Right now, I'm plowing through Assassin's Creed Unity. Completed the main story, which is too predictable, and filled with flat characters. The online bit is fun when it works, but not enough to keep me coming back to it. Sure, it has its flaws, and some bugs, but I never cared about that. If a game is fun, why care about the bugs, unless, of course, they're gamebreakers.
The graphics of ACUnity is pretty sweet, and traversing Paris in the French Revolution is cool, but still not as great as Venice, Florence and Forli from AC2, but it's still fun.

I'm also still playing The Last Of Us - Remastered, and the online bit is actually what keeps bringing me back. It's a great multiplayer, that for some reason, keeps me hooked. I think I've played more online in that game than any other, sans games that are primarily multiplayer/online (Diablo 2/3). Great story, if you're that guy, great graphics, excellent world, brilliant music, terrific acting. Best game this year, even if it came out on the PS3 originally last year.

I'm getting Dragon Age Inquisition for Christmas(Because I know mostly what I'm getting, what?), which, based on reviews and gameplay videos, I'm really stoked for. And I never finished Origins, nor did I even play Dragon Age 2.

LittleBigPlanet 3 is also top of my list of games to get this holiday season.

If you're on PSN, have a PS3/4 and wanna play around, my PSN ID is "tomellingsen".

I'm out of shows to watch these days. Honestly. I watch Doctor Who, and Game Of Thrones, and that's just about it.
I've tried watching Grimm, didn't like it. I've got Gotham on my list, and had Constantine, but after the reviews, I decided not to.
Once Upon A Time had a cool premise, but I tend to grow tired quickly from 20+ episodes a season series.
I've yet to complete Breaking Bad, I'm gonna watch House Of Cards and True Detective, but I feel like time is what I'm missing.

I'd love to watch Avatar and Korra, I just can't stand anime, no matter where it's made sad

I'll borrow that project file from you for a little bit, if you don't mind tongue

Instead of doing that, there's a perfectly good explanation for it:

aliens

I can't believe I'm actually getting into this, but:
The "exhausts" can't really be guards, as they have smaller emitters, that a potential blade could cut right through. If they were flush with the hilt, then I guess it could work.

They could be exhaust ports. To cool the hilt?
I don't know, and frankly, I don't care.

I agree with both Paulou and Teague, but since Owen isn't working in Linear Space, and also probably 8-bit, NEVER SET TO ADD.

But in a proper space, never set to screen.

The ideal method I found years ago, back when Aurellia was a thing(Kudos to the one person who remembers what THAT was!), and I made a preset of it too, was a combination of add and screen, with the latter comped over the prior. It gave, if I recall correctly, a crunchy look, whilst not blowing out over bright colours.

But it's fun to spark some life into 8 year old conversations that we all actually took part of and remember.

Well, I was pointing that comment towards a language that could fit a droid. Something that, even not-processed, isn't exactly widely understood.

But hey, don't mind me, I don't speak much to moisture vap- ehm, Owen's mom, nor do I speak a lick of Bocci.

My initial method was to take the images you provided, stich them to a pano like you did, and then move the camera around that space. At the time I didn't know the grabs were all from one shot. I thought they were stills from the angles we had available, all perfectly shot.

Cause that I can do.

You're not mad, it's completely doable, in most cases. That's how I pulled of quite a few shots in Traveler 2, to be honest.

EDIT:

Martin showed me the shot in context. It's not even remotely close to the pano thing here, so there'll be problems. What I initially thought was the pano was compiled out of all the available shots in the film, which it isn't, which leads to problems with the method I was implying.

Right off the bat, I'm guessing it's doable, but hard to pull off. I vote for a track by Teague. He's amazing at tracking.

I'd also love it if anyone has a good candidate for android. I recently switched from an iPhone 5S to an xperia z3 compact,  and I'm dying over here. I can't find a good podcast app.

From The Facebook group. I'd appreciate it if you could help me out. I don't know of many other ways to get noticed, or to get the word out smile

Thank you in advance for helping with get the word out. This is the result of a small dedicated team putting in a lot of hard work to make a rather cool episode.
Several people have asked what the most effective way to do this is so I've put together this list to coordinate everyone's efforts.
The following tasks are in order of importance so you start at the top and work your way down.
Youtube recognises how popular a video is by what it considers interactions and their frequency. Therefore we need to get as many comments and likes in the first hour online to be noticed.
Youtube > Link goes here
1) Leave a comment on the youtube video. This is the most effective way to spread the word as anyone who sees it will notice how many other people are engaged by it. Say which scene you liked or if you thought the effects worked.
2) like on youtube. - This helps us with youtubes ranking.
3) Share the youtube link on facebook. We will also have a header image if you want to help spread the word
4) Share the link on twitter
5) Post on the Reddit thread and say what you enjoyed about it - link
6) Post on Gallifrey Base thread and say what you enjoyed about it.
7) Email Doctor Who blogs to tell them about the video
Again, thanks. The most important way of getting the word out, is sharing. Sharing is caring, and only takes you seconds to do.

They look just fine, as far as first drafts go. Obviously the beam effect is just the core, and then glows will be applied to it.

It's still heartbreaking. A part of me always just assumed "It's Mike. He'll be just fine. He'll just wake up with David at his side and simply ask where he is, and what happened".

It never really occurred to me that this would be a possibility.

At the same time though, it's great to hear that according to how things actually work in the real world, he's doing great.

I'm completely swamped until next week. Once Owen, or anyone gives me locked plates of what I'm doing, I'll get started. Right now it's crunch time for Traveler Episode 2.

I didn't find it craptastic, but it sure as hell wasn't a story worth telling. Which is sad, as I had high hopes after the trailer. Oh well, not the first time, certainly not the last.

Looking forward to the finale, though.
