So I get the feeling that the current Shadowrun campaign is reaching a climax. While it's possible to do a "continuing adventures of", I don't know who wants to keep doing so or even if Shadow wants to keep DMing.
I might be interested in running a few sessions of my Burnt Skies system, and seeing if we want to take it as a full campaign. The elevator pitch is capital ship combat, with the Big Guns of each ship having more power and accuracy the bigger the ship is. Everyone could control their own ship, or everyone can be bridge crew members on a single ship.
Take a look at the rules and let me know.
The Player's Guide is written as though we're to take place during a galactic civil war; if you want, we can also do immediately after the end of the war (mopping up) or a few years after the war during reconstruction.
If we want to go for it, I'll go through the Guide and probably touch up a few rules since it's been a while since I've revisited them.
Oh I hope Teague plays Grimm, that'd be hella fun to play off of
I've yet to survive to the end of a series (insofar as voice acting goes, though admittedly my resume isn't extensive). My sister just called me Sean Bean. I might be okay with this.
Anyway, remember how we were talking about recording together if possible because of playing off of each other with conversations? That scene is definitely an exception, though I'd want to be on call with you for direction.
:'( You monster.
I'm good! And should be in on time.
No, the refurb is going to be used for SCS-10 in October.
This one was carrying a Facebook Internet.org satellite so I think it's a deliberate act of sabotage in the summer blockbuster spy movie vein.
...well Tuesdays in GENERAL work for me... I'll be late this week. Forgot about a short-notice shoot I'm on. Should be interesting, I'll tell you about it when I hop on. Til then I'll take a picture of whatever notes I had from last time. (I was just going to be the getaway driver, correct? I give you guys permission to play Burnout til I get there if something's needed, my sheet on Roll20 is fully updated.) It'll take me about a half hour to get home after the shoot but I can hop on Skype on the way back.
I'm good.
Oops, thought I posted this here. I ended up just going with the original music, partially for the quick turnaround on it.
Now, if you guys want to Poké Rap or something then I'll see if I can get some more video to go with it, but otherwise, enjoy the video
I can;t wait to hear it - or also record if I made the cut
Loving it so far! Left comments in the first three episodes.
I can do Tuesdays as well. Will clash with Arrow and Agents of SHIELD but I can catch up on those later in the week.
Actually, Thursdays are pretty great for me too.
BDA, I... don't think so? It hasn't come back the way your assignment did, to the best of my knowledge.
ALTHOUGH I see SD over there scribbling some notes.
That's true, I'm good most evenings as well, my preference would be Monday.
In fact, if we *are* playing, someone please text me cause I likely won't check here again before then
I have no idea what we said but I kept forgetting that I have a friend's wedding I'm at. Ceremony is in a half hour, then reception, then the drive back. I could theoretically participate by phone as I'm driving but that'd get old for Steph real quick.
Played some Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes with Steph yesterday, will probably do a video with it soonish. If you haven't played or heard of it, one player sits in front of the screen (or Oculus but since mine isn't that dependable I didn't want to rely on it) and has a bomb to defuse, while all other players cannot look at the screen and instead have a bomb defusal manual. Here's a walkthrough of probably the simplest module; there are many types and up to 11 on one bomb.
"Red button labeled ABORT."
"Are there more than two batteries on the bomb?"
"Yes, three."
"Is there a lit indicator somewhere on the bomb with the letters Foxtrot Romeo Kilo?"
"No."
"Hold the button. What color did the stripe next to it light up?"
"Yellow."
"Release when the countdown timer has a 5 in any position."
Lots of communication necessary and the more advanced modules are pretty complex. You need a good system for communicating and need to be concise and clear. Also, did I mention a countdown? Five minutes and an increasing music tempo rush you along. Definitely recommended.
You take the bike, I'll take the Maserati and fail to keep myself from making a Joe Walsh reference.
Cool stuff man!
I watched that movie in a religious retreat thing back in the day. My favorite part was when Jon Bon Jovi did something abusive and one of my classmates noted, "Man, he gives love a bad name."
No prob I had forgotten. I'll be good for next week.
A bit late to ask, but are we on tonight?
Aha. Very nice!
Same here, can't see.
