Finished the season.

SPOILER Show
Russo's fate was sealed in the opening scene of the show. You just knew that's how Underwood was going to handle that.
When do we declare the statute of limitations on spoilers? I wanna hear what we all think is the Underwoods' master plan.

edit: this is one of those "wierd places," that forums sometimes go to, isn't it?

Define "missing," as I'm sure I've submitted it twice. We glossed over a few of the desired gag-takes, but the dialog is all available if you don't have it. We shot lots of drving around the city footage, down some of the roads used in various recent films, e.g. Dark Knight. I originally uploaded the whole day's footage in, like, iPhone resolution for logging purposes, but we shot HD.

What of this rumor I read: that Vidina was struck by a meteorite and has regenerated into some other Norwegian d-bag? That doesn't absolve him of editing duties, right?

A timid entry, suitable for nursing mothers and patients recovering from surgery.

I was wrong, the first 4 are still posted (2 are unfinished he tells me), just deeper into his website than I thought. Linking here, but requesting his approval to do so permanently...

So wait: if I just unleash my demons and do something horrible, celebrities will contemplate my actions and create art in response? And then anonymous e-people will alternately rage against and/or defend it? There can be no truer immortality!! [/unbalanced creep]

Stop feeding these trolls. [/why do I even have to say that]

Just spent 30 minutes searching for a series of paintings I once saw of the Noble gasses personified as though by renaissance masters. I'll keep searching later, meanwhile: asterisk.

edit after BDA's ebullience: I guess he pulled most of them down, I've messaged Mark Zug on his portfolio website but there's one on his Deviant Art page:

I think Wilhelms are a hybirid of, "Where's Waldo?" and saying, "Bless you," after someone sneezes. Once you hear the Wilhelm in a film, you're done with that part of the experience. Prior to that though, it's foreplay in anticipation of when the Sound Designer will finally let you finish.

I am not affilliated in any way with this production:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/112 … -the-doors

The VFX Supervisor from "Hunt for Gollum" is involved with this possibly allegorical film about a boy living in an abstract world of hallways and doors, with an old man in the basement discouraging him from discovering more...

5 days remain for their kickstarter...

I swear I will literally delete every copy of that file if you make me hate this movie.

<three days later...>
We're good.
I clearly have a much lower threshhold for what I'll allow a filmmaker in the telling of their story.

I've got a reliable producer/grip type guy pencilled in for Chicago crew, if it comes to that.

My own T3i does a good job and looks prosumer enough, got a 5DmkII and a mkIII available, fast glass for the canons in excess, 3 panasonic HD cheapies, a Hero 2 and a decent Sony HD handicam, several small stand lights, not sure if the 2 Alien Bee's are any good for video, a range of large muslin backdrops including chroma green and a Xoom X2 (the one with XLR inputs) for extra audio. All free on loan of course.

I am not otherwise engaged at that time of that night.
Except when I am sometimes.

Anyway, interested in streaming info.

Posted that in chat a day or two ago.

It's one of those, "I could never articulate how I felt about that until now," things. IMO this relates to the (taboo-ish ;-p ) discussion of the objectification of women in media. If a man is to be measured by how well he defeats the dragon, what is the message to the guy who cares for the knight's horse?

Used to watch the PBS reruns after school. Must've started when I was but a wee sprout, say 6 or 8 years old. Strictly Tom Baker era: when I later saw some Davison or McCoy episodes I was somewhat put-out. Never experienced any of the other single-digits.

Of the new, Tennant gets my vote, or would if the poll had some flexibility.

Big gamma shift, a bit of a saturation bump and then the grain. Mix to taste.
