Hey guys, Teague here.
Team America isn’t a movie I feel strongly about, and that has always disturbed me. I would do pretty much anything possible to blow Trey Parker and taste of his semi-fluid genius, the genesis of South Park: The Movie, Orgazmo, Cannibal: The Musical. (I even love BASEketball.) (I have no desire to blow David Zucker.) However, even since initially hearing about it, I haven’t been on board for this crazy god damned puppet caprice of his. The sadness overcomes me.
Fortunately, puppet-magician Trey Stokes worked on this thing – designed rigs and shook sets and blew up cities and breathed life into the very fabric of the Team America universe – and can tell us all in great detail why I should appreciate this movie, and in the end, what it means to be human. And of the meaning of friendship. And of… oh forget it, here’s the download link.
