Keep it simple, make sure it looks good and it's easy to read. Noone likes a big wall of text. There are tons of templates on the web. Download as many as you can and see what does and doesn't work.

Also, this:

I'll share a quick anecdote on this subject: A couple years ago I kicked my resume and reel around to a few places and got a call back from Entity Effects, who do, amongst a lot of other things, Smallville, which is a show I'm a fan of, particularly some of their effects work. I went into the interview, and we watched my reel. They asked me to talk about the work as it was shown, to explain it. They were impressed and said that they were interested in bringing me into a short-term freelance position and wanted to show me around. It was then that I realized they hadn't even touched my resume, and almost as a formality, flipped through the pages and glanced through it casually before standing to give me a tour of the place. I think this industry in particular is very much about your work and what you can do, and less about where you've been and how you learned.

This is awesome!

The movie should've been about him becoming Green Lantern and it wasn't. I had the same problem with Captain America where they just pumped Steve full of liquid awesomness and that was it. No training required.

God what I wouldn't give for him to make King Conan now with an older Schwarzenegger.

Maybe he'll cast Arnold in the Jesus movie.

BLR is a small vfx complany. They do these little shorts to promote themselves. Also remember that a fake trailer is what got Kevin Tancharoen the gig of directing the new Mortal Kombat webseries and the feature-lenght movie.

I'm reaaaallly starting to get sick of these 1-2 min fake trailers or just short films that don't actually accomplish anything other than get you to go "Man, the actual thing of that would be so frickin awsome!"

That's exctlay what they're supposed to do.

If you did a movie that covered the Gospels and the book of Acts, he'd die in the first half or sooner. Hmm, I seem to remember a mini-series called AD or something that started with his death, and was longer than most movies about Jesus.

As with most stories, it's all in where you start and stop.

Well yeah but my point is we don't get to see that much.

Speaking of the "chosen one" thing, I desperately want one of these movies to start out that way and then have the chosen one get brutally killed 1/3 of the way through, and have the rest of the characters have to deal with the ramifications.

Yes. I was thinking the exact same thing earlier today. Establish the 'chosen one' character, set him on his path and then *boom* he's dead. Now deal with it.

So... the whole Jesus thing.

Is there a movie about Jesus where he gets killed 20 minutes into the film?
