Found this insanely awesome fabric at work the other day for very...affordable. It's a super nice pleather backed with really thick wool like stuff. Soft as fuuuu-

Decided to turn some of it into a laptop case for my sisters Xmas present. Couple hiccups here and there from not having touched a sewing machine in a year and a half, and never having worked with anything nearly this plush (Damn stuff rolls under the foot like a mofo). But here it is in all it's...glory.

2nd bit of last months stuff. The Coming Attractions!

Have I ever mentioned how much I truly, deeply and honestly loathe you?

Cause fuck it, we'll need it in 4 days anyways.

In the meantime here's Paint doing a thing....

In the meantime meantime, who all's seeing it opening night or opening nightish?

I've used it a bit. Not a fan of having to export a 50GB image sequence for a five minute video.

Riiiiight I knew there was a reason I tried out Speedgrade once or twice and went screaming in the other direction. It's literally easier for me to just port my entire project into afx to do grading.

As you guys may or may not have heard I went a little uh, what's the word....insane...yeah...in November producing a TON of stuff for November's BullSkit Comedy show. At the end of the day I produced nearly 20 minutes worth of video content in just shy of 3.5 weeks. Which is a little nuts.

November's show was entirely styled as "A Night At The Movies" so all the sketches were parodies, lots of impressions, that sort of thing. But going with that, we also styled the show itself as a movie, so we had a preshow playing before the show started, fake trailers, credits, the whole shebang.

This is the first part of that whole thing, the Preshow. The rest of the stuff will be releasing over the next week and a bit before Christmas.

Enjoy!

Valve labels the machines building Steam Controllers as Aperture Science. Because of course they do.

Didn't bother putting a timer on this one cause there were a lot of gaps with nothing happening cause I was doing other stuff. But actual work time was probably just shy of 3 hours or so.

This sunday me and a buddy are going to be doing a massive location scouting trip (it was the only day we could both be free for like a month, so yeah, that's the way it goes). Theoretically we'll be back in time with time to spare before we start buuuuut....

...if I don't show up just letting you know I'm probably bleeding to death in a burning car in a ditch somewhere in fuckall, Alberta. So you know...fyi.

So apparently Adobe is running some big art livestream thing for the next couple days and are running an art contest to go along with it, with somre pretty kickass prizes. I discovered this about 4 hours ago (Thanks to Draw With Jazza)...about 8 hours before the deadline.

So I said f- it and decided to throw something together. The theme was "You must have dark to show the light!". I haven't painted anything like this is probably a good, I'm gonna, 3 years. I'm kinda amazed it looks like anything at all, but I'm actually pretty proud of it. Not bad for 3 hours work.

EDIT: Oooookaaaay facebook compression did nooooot like this one. Reuploading somewhere else.

Dang Muricans. Can't keep your days straight.

And that all works for me, I've still got a small handful of short films I have to get done for next week.

Damn, these crowd sims are getting pretty good.

Right right, forgot about that. Yeah, I guess it's mostly the Michael/Ghostwalker/Nightshade connection that's the big bomb from the computer.
