Yeah! It was very much like The Idiot's Lantern. I thought it sounded similar when I read the episode description but then when I saw the bike riding out of the Tardis it cemented it for me.

I didn't expect the wee cameo towards the end.....

I enjoyed it smile

According to IMDB, it's getting released in France on 25th September. click

For American Wright/Pegg/Frost fans, The World's End has been brought forward from October to August 23rd. You're now getting it 9 days after the UK instead of 2 months smile

But-

This doesn't mean these are all going to happen -- there's about 8 years' worth of titles here, and new ones are coming out all the time -- but it will help you guys see if there are any gaps in our thinking, as well as to let us know which ones you really want to hear, since you might be more or less interested in some than we might assume.

The 'crap' action movies that Squiggly suggested are already on Dorkman's list so some of us are actually doing what the opening post suggests. I do agree there needs to be a bit more order, though but I don't really think it is up to you or I to tell others that.

You guys speak of Tatum like he's actually enjoyable to watch.

Really? I don't think anyone did that. hmm

I'd also be down for a Predator commentary. Hell, maybe do a series of classic 80's action flicks. You've already done Die Hard, but Lethal Weapon, Predator, Total Recall, Robocop, First Blood...

*puts on pendant's hat* Total Recall was released in 1990 wink big_smile

It only downloads as about a minute and ten seconds in length for me. It also says a minute eighteen on the download page. Anyone else having this problem?  hmm

I agree but there will be someone, somewhere, I guarantee it.

You could ask the question about any show. Everyone is different and we all like different things. There won't be a single TV show ever made that every single person will agree on, same with movies.  It doesn't matter if someone likes a show that you don't like and vice versa, it is just the way it goes.

Yes, they reshot to have Tatum in it more.

Well, Retaliation seems like another one of those troubled productions. It was meant to come out last summer but was delayed 'to get converted to 3D', but I've read a couple reports that have said it was due to reshoots due in part to negative test screenings.

It was actually for both reasons, I believe.....

I saw the name Damon Lindelof in the writers section. Should I be worried?

He co-wrote the 2009 film too so I guess it depends on how much you liked that one.

It's when he's driving the car out of the helicopter. In the UK version, it's 'Yippee Ki Yay Mother- *revs car*'

Now I have seen this film, I must say......it's fucking awful.
