I've just seen it for the first time in 48fps. I enjoyed it a great deal, acknowledging the issues Zarban outlined in his spoiler topic.

One of the things that struck me most about the higher frame rate, was how much it felt like going to the theatre. The scenes in the Shire were prime examples, it felt like I was watching a play. The whole experience constantly felt more engaging, more immersive.

I want to see more HFR films, they put me in mind of the jump from film to digital, record to CD. The experience is not jarring if you're used to gaming; in FPS games you frequently play at around 60FPS.

I'd repressed how furious this thing made me. Listening to Mike's opening statement brought it all back.

It's not even all the egregious stupidity the movie exhibits; it's the horrifying waste of what could have been a generational experience.

On this side of the planet, we're about 2 hours away from Santa.

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy, and safe Christmas, no matter which holiday you celebrate. Down in Front means a lot to me, both the show and the community, and I'd like to thank everyone for the last year.

May the fat man be kind, and your families and friends be close by.

This.

However if I ever get around to writing it, Night of the Vented Spleen will be awe-inspiring.

Happy holidays from Mad God.
