I tweeted Greg, he doesn't think he still has the footage but might be able to reshoot.

'A tad too by the numbers'?  If you had said The World is Not Enough, then I would have agreed.

I reckon The World is Not Enough does a pretty good job of getting away from the formula unfortunately thats probably where it falls down because it's just... dull.  smile

My big problem with Avengers is the attack on the Helicarrier which grounds the plot to a stand still. It just keeps going.

Oh and Angelus was obviously the best Buffy villain. By miles.

My favourite is Goldeneye for reasons I talk about here

It was the first Bond I saw but it holds up brilliantly and is by far Brosnans strongest which is a shame because they never really matched the tone of Silly-NotTooSilly until Casino Royale.

The first three Connery films are great but I'm less keen when it strays too far from Flemming in You Only Live Twice or Diamonds are Forever.

I actually prefer Roger Moore's later films For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy to Live and Let Die and Spy Who Loved Me but I do unashamedly love Moonraker if only for the Pretitle sequence where they just kept throwing stuntmen out of planes.

a West Wing prequel, eh?

Zarban, when can you have a first draft ready?

The thing that's a shame about WWZ is J. Michael Straczynski wrote a couple of drafts that were really good and stayed close to the book.

The first act is your typical Zombie Outbreak with Brad Pitt's character getting a call telling him to get out of town then he buys the camper van like the family in the book then we fade to two years later and "Gerry" is asked to go around interviewing survivors and we see their stories.

If theres one good thing to come out of the movie is the new unabridged version of the audio book with different actors reading each chapter. Which will be great for listening to during a long rotoscoping session.

aintitcoolnews are running some speculation that it could be Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird due to their being contracted to make a big budget sci-fi known as '1952'
