There are, but they might not be worth listening to after all. Somethings off, id I heard right. Faldor's working on that bit.
Also, it was more of a "get to know each other" session than it was anything else.
And Wednesday works for me.
NSFW. (at least the third one)
Pop-Rock band Fall Out Boy recently launched a new album, and for the occasion, the band releases music videos. Nothing new there, but what's interesting is the first three singles(and possibly the next ones) are all short, continuous films. All direct sequels. Pretty cool.
Yup, that was a fun 3.5 hours.
In the future, though, we should at least TRY and come prepared to the proverbial table.
And get a name.
And maybe even a website.
For me, series 4 and its two finales (The stolen planet 'trilogy' and the End of Time) is in my humble opinion the best the show's ever been. Granted, you can't start there and get anything, since it's all a collection of all that has lead up to it, and series 5 is pretty much a reboot, but I'd take Eccleston and Tennant any day over Smith.
Still not saying I don't like Smith, I just don't like his interpretation of the Doctor.
*Moffat knows very well how to write two-parters. (Empty Child/Doctor Dances), but I don't think he manages to pull off seasons at all. Season 6 was horrific. The whole death-of-the-doctor was a piece of shite.
*I prefer Tennant, you don't. Leaving it at that.
*River Song is annoying as hell, and it doesn't help that I don't even like Alex Kingston.
*I get the Rose hatred. I do, and my favorite companion is Amy. But Rose had a great story arch, and a superb payoff.
And as for Rickey the idiot and Jackie Tyler, sure, I'd like to see them in a special again at some point, but then you'd have to include Jack, Donna(in a way, obviously), Martha, The Master, Jenna, and Daddy Pete. I don't see that happening, or any reason to do so, so let's just hope they don't.
Yeah, that's gonna be odd. Some 5-ish people chatting on mic, and having to read out loud what someone said in a chat. That'll be just as bad as that show that existed for a while before getting sacked. Down in Front, I think it was called.
Do I need anything else than my mic and Google Hangout?
Yowza, that's late. But ok!
Remind me when the time comes. If it's DW, I don't need to do much prepping. I know most of it
Never meant to be hostile, folks, relax.
I'm just not happy with the way Smith and Moffat are running things. Never quite have been.
BDA: you won't get this one. Series 7 is from 1-13, not 6-13
Doc: I just don't like his goofy, sometimes too stupid Doctor. I'll agree he does a stellar performance, but the character doesn't do it for me with him behind it.
Also, Doctor Who is a show about change - It's time to change the Doctor.
This season? Define THIS SEASON.
1. Asylum of the Daleks: Not bad, not great.
2. Dinosaurs on a spaceship: uhm...
3. A Town called Mercy: Yeah, that was about as good as any spaghetti western. With aliens.
4. The Power of Three: Not nearly as good as I thought it would be. Rather boring, really.
5. The Angels Take Manhattan: ENOUGH WITH THAT DAMN RIVER SONG ALREADY! But yeah, heartbreaking end.
- The Snowmen: Actually quite good, I'll give you that one.
6. Bells of St. John: Clever title. Saw it coming. Not a good episode. Just sets up Clara as a clever girl without her being actually clever.
7. The Rings of Akhaten: Great end speech. Horrible episode, really. I know I said I enjoyed it, but the plot holes just keep getting to me.
8. Cold War: Fun seeing Ice Warriors, not so much fun else.
9. Hide: Really damn good.
In short: not the weakest season yet(season 6, sans The Doctor's Wife) was horrible, but they've got a lot to do to make it good.
Also, fire Smith.
I fucking bought the Hunger Games Blu-Ray based on critical acclaim and general public praise.
Guess I'm not listening to any of those fuckers ever again.
.. The movie was alright, but not worth buying. Maybe netflix instant or potential rental.
"Hide" was pretty good.
Although, I was expecting to hear a bit more about Clara than revealed.
Looking forward to next week indeed.
Yes, mustache. Also; boobs.
30 Seconds to Mars - Up in the Air
Yes, I love all things Mars, but it's a pretty cool video, to go along a cool song.
I work weekdays until 4:30pm. That's GMT+1. And I'm not really ready until about 9pm.
But we really should do a test run first.

wait, how do we have proof that's DJ in the photo?

Rings of Akhaten.
Also, episode was alright. Reminded me of "Fires of Pompeii" and "The Satan Pit" at once.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/43777147/UpInTheAir.mp3 - Had some fun while drinking just now. Turn out pretty nice.
I've got the next few hours clear. Also, a professional level mic meant for recording vocals. Not a condensator mic, a dynamic one, but it should do the trick just nicely. Also, sound is being processed by a Roland UA-55.
Or a monetary note.
This weekend? Sure. But if the number of europeans is larger than the US reps, we should set it a bit earlier than 2AM .
I second Drew. If the time is befitting, I'm down. In front.
Badum-tsh.
