That's probably the greatest compliment I've ever gotten. And a huge ego boost. Merci!

Also, there are three tracks; guitar, bass and vocals. The bass is just the E string on a guitar, which seems to be a bit loud, and also: wrongly played.

you're saying you're responsible?

Very much WIP, but here's my 1st take on Castle Of Glass by Linkin Park. Ignore the end. I also have a cold.

Yes well, that doesn't help tongue

Or maybe we should consider just not discussing Star Wars directors until it's 100% confirmed. The choice of director is all over the place, and between the Disney takeover and now, almost all the directors have been rumoured to be taking on Star Wars. Remember Irvin Kershner? Yeah, prior to ESB, he made little of importance. After ESB? He made RoboCop 2. Richard Marquand's only merit is RotJ. Only one worth mentioning.
It doesn't matter who does it, as far as he/she does it well.

Beautiful. And it's a weird coincidence, considering I watched Sad Max again last night on my new Apple TV tongue

Hey, some movies even spoil themselves. Moulin Rouge "The woman that I love is dead." is said literally within the first 3 minutes.

Starting with Smith means you get to start with higher production values and overall better acting that series 1. The problem then is going back to "when it was crap for a while there". Which it wasn't. It's always been silly and low budget, and should be viewed as such. How many episodes did he watch? If he got to "The Empty Child" and still didn't like the show, odds are he won't at all.

EDIT:

My viewing order was Eleventh Hour, and THEN Rose. Both after I got the general gist of the show from the Rowan Atkinson 1999 comedy special. I liked Smith enough, liked Eccleston even more. Once you know how the show works, you appreciate the characters and story over the production value.

1. As a rule of thumb, I generally don't spoil. Whatever it is. When people haven't watched Fight Club, I don't instantly go "Well, then it's ok, because it's an old film now", instead, I think they might not even have heard of it. So, I just encourage them to go see it. Trying to explain Cabin in the Woods is hard, so I just tell them it's the best scary movie ever, because it isn't a traditional one. And they should just trust my judgement and go see it.
1A. Same rule applies. Although Norwegian TV stations spoil them all the time. Guessing that you've already seen last week's episode, and then do flashbacks from it while previewing this week's episode. I hate it. Instead, just watch it. If the spoiler is actually a spoiler, I won't spoil.

2. Yes. They'll be expecting a twist. But also no; because if you don't inform what the twist concerns, it could be irrelevant whether or not it's a spoiler.

3. I tell them the general plot/story without giving away too much details, leaving them wanting to see the film. I did that recently with Looper. "It's a film about time travel. There are these assassins called Loopers, whose victims come from the future. The twist there, is that their final contract is themselves, 30 years from then." That actually worked well enough.

4. Depends. I had to explain how Time Lords can regenerate. It's a spoiler because if you didn't know, you'd think Tennant's Doctor dies in the season 4 finale, and the show would end there. But if you know how it works, it's not a spoiler per se, so it's ok.

5. "what? Rose is okay, what are you talking about? She got her Doct- Oh, snap, you're only at series 3. NEVERMINDMOVEALONGNOTHINGTOSEEHERE!"

6. Never, as far as I know. I stay away from info about something I haven't watched. Like the plague. And if I don't, I just don't care. Example: I knew how TDKR ended before watching it, but I wasn't that interested in watching it to begin with, so I didn't care.

Ricky Elliot got me hooked on the concept, so I made a trailer for "Looper", only in Black and White. The film lends itself perfectly to the style, wouldn't you agree?

Steampunk 2077. Game coming from the makers of The Witcher.
Great trailer, great choice of music.

The track is "Bullet" by Archive, from the album "Controlling Crowds". You should check them out.

xavier: Yeah, I found a workaround, too. I had too. Our quota for DL's was 6GB. Skyrim is 5.7.
However, it shouldn't be like that when you have the disc. That's why I bought the disc in the fist place.

yes, but in Series 6, we got "The Doctor's Wife", which is one of the best episodes to date.

Series 5 was a pretty good one, I'll admit, but for me, it's series 4. I liked having Donna around as the most human of the companions - one that has a strictly platonic relationship to the doctor. Both Rose and Martha fell for him, but Donna was in all honesty just a friend. Also, towards the end of the series, when things really start wrapping up, and not forgetting that we meet this new character called River Song, things got really fucking awesome. It doesn't work without having seen the series prior to it, though, so I'm not sure how that would go about.

Saniss: I'm leaving Vidina behind, after 10 years of using an online handle that's not related to me in any way, shape or form.

In other news, I've gotten around to watching "Genesis of the Daleks" now, and I'm halfway through "Revenge of the Cybermen", but DAMN. D_A_M_N that Genesis of the Daleks was really fucking good. Did NOT see that coming at all. I'm still no huge fan of Tom Baker, I mean he's alright, but that story was really engaging. Actually getting to know HOW the Daleks came about was thrilling. So thrilling indeed, that I stayed up until 3AM to complete all 6 episodes of it.

That's a ray-tracing test, but yeah, I get what you mean.

Steam is both excellent and horrible at the same time. When I bought Skyrim on a physical disc last year(2011, anyway), we only had a mobile broadband connection, and to my amusement, not only did I have to be online to INSTALL the game, Steam started download of the entire game, when I had it ON DISC.

not endorsing it. It's a morally gray area, and Adobe DID in fact offer these serials to the general public.

I got to it just fine. I'm already paying for Creative Cloud, so I don't need it, but damn, that is a nice thing to do!

that sounds like fun, actually.

You know what'd be really cool, though? A mod that actually made the storyline quests progress with or without you. Not there when the dragon attacked the tower outside Whiterun? Oops, nobody know's you're dragonborn. Not around to stop Alduin? Well, goodbye most of the world.

It'd be cool if someone modded the game to account for your NOT being there. I mean, the game is just scripted events. A quest won't activate unless you're in a given area, and even then, the time doesn't matter. they all just wait around for you.

Dual 6-core processors are really worth the consideration. Add hyperthreading, and you have 24 cores. 12 will be virtual, yes, but it'll still blast away.

haha, that's pretty much how I played Oblivion. I knew there was this quest concerning the death of the Emperor, but beside from that, I don't think I ever cleared the main storyline.

Which brings us to the subject of mods; the real reason behind the Elder Scrolls longevity.

There are plenty of mods out there designed to make the later stages of the game harder (such as http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14449), or to tweak the experience in any way you like.

I already pointed it out on the previous page.
