I was entertained by it. It wasn't great, but it wasn't as bad as many other movies out there. Like "Max Payne". I'll admit that it may have been a decent movie, if you have no frame of reference, but they fucked up the actual story.

Like that whole 'Icarus' thing in "Sunshine".
Also, the one who directed the whole "drillers vs austronauts" question to Michael Bay was Ben Affleck.
I loved armageddon when I was younger. I'd say young, but I'm only 24, and considering 'dad' is about twice my age, it doesn't exactly feel right.
I haven't watched it in years, but I bought it today to re-watch it.
Btw, having not listened to the whole commentary yet, I noticed Teague dissapeared, but then reappered again. Did the guys wake you up, or did you pass out later than that?
Great commentary still, though. I had to look up William Fichtner, but yeah, he's pretty much in every movie.
Nice. What's fun is I spotted myself on the TFn snapshot
...The Core?
EDIT:
Let me elaborate a tad. If it were the case that that what happens in the core initially(the whole earth thing), there would be nothing we could do. even if there was something, we wouldn't just send ONE fucking team down there. But because it's a movie, it doesn't make sense to involve all 4815162342 persons down there.
I think 'someone' should scan this for most posted films and make a poll of it. It's requests already, but as I've still to scan this thread myself, I'm not entirely sure how many have been taken from this thread. If I recall correctly, Sunshine was, but as far as I know(and that's me personally), that's the only one.
I mean, I requested 'empire', but it's pretty much a given anyway.
It's finally done? Awesome.
Were you also drunk when you indexed it on iTunes? The episode reads "Arnageddon".
If I recall correctly, they were thinking pretty much inside the box.
I preferred Crystal Bernard.
Whoa, never done that before. Nicely done. My eyes hurt and have issues focusing right now, but cool nonetheless.
Big Trouble in Little China. Kurt Russel, KimCattrall, and James Hong. Evil spirits and a truck. There's no doubt about it.
Runner-up: Coming to America. It's got Eddie Murphy, Darth Vader and tits. What more can you ask?
Primer is THE mind-fucker. I hate/love it.
Re-listened to it today, and while you guys did some fighting over the actress playing Peggy playing in Wings or not. Amy Yasbeck, portraying Peggy, did indeed play Casey in Wings.
Jackal: As far as I can remember, "Iciocracy" has nothing to do with reality TV. It's about how the human civilization is currently at its peak, and how we are degraded, mind-wise in the future. It's not worth a look, it's utter crap.
Loved the commentary. The parts where you try to go on about 'if he grew up like this, he'd be used to it, and wouldn't question it' riddles me.
I mean, if I grew up in there, on an island, I probably wouldn't question anything. However, the fact that it seems to have connections to other places, albeit impossible to cross, is a tad annoying. If it was just an island, I don't think Truman would even question if there's anything beyond the horizon. He might've, once, but after that, I think he'd settle with the fact that this island is all there is. (If you've seen LOST season 6, you'll get what I mean) The problem is, however, that seeing as there were roads and whatnots to seemingly other places is what would trigger his curiosity. Every single time he tries to drive somewhere new, there's traffic coming out of nowhere, and whatnot.
The 'big brother' in me would very much like to see an experiment like this in the real world, but as a realist, It'd be cruel, terrible and downright torture for the poor individual.
Actually scratch that, the astronaut could be Charlton Heston. No chance for the caveman then.
But in the rewrite, he'd be swapped with Marky Mark.
Damnit. I just might have to sit out of this one as well. Blargh.
Hm, it'll be 8PM for me. I might be able to, if the other half is at work
I agree with Karen Gillan. If only she was a couple of inches shorter, though. 5'11" isn't optimal
But, the new Tardis is waaaaay sexier.
1. The Incredibles
2. Monsters Inc
3. Wall-E
4. Cars
5. Toy Story
I could make a top 10, but it's too hard to choose. I did enjoy Cars more than I thought I would, and I didn't even watch it until my son got it on DVD a little while back. I remember thinking it'd be pure crap, but as it turns out, stock cars didn't play out as badly as I thought.
Also, The Incredibles really did it for me. I've always had a hero-fetish, so that might be the reason. I actually enjoyed "Heroes" all the way until the premature ending. Sure, it had its downs and all, but I didn't lose interest at all.
Okay, somehow I think I wasn't entirely clear on the fact that the stories should be real, not films.
I'm sorry if the places were inadequate for you people. I might be low on proteins right now.
*chews brains*
A quick google for the underground comedy movie torrent gave a couple of results, if nothing else.
Also, discovered I have actually watched "The Room". And it sucked balls. Big, juicy, hairy donkey-balls. If there's ever a worse movie out there, I'd like to see it.
Hello doggy.
1. Zeppelin
2. Sealand
3. Madagascar
4. Area 51
5. A mall.
Top 5 bizarre stories you've experienced second hand. Not necessarily sexual, since there's no way we're topping Eddie.
Seems like a good deal to me.
