Ok, so for those of you who got used to custom colors in the chat box (me tongue) here's a tweaked version of the script so you can go crazy with username/link highlighting:

http://lamer.3design.net.pl/greasemonke … er.user.js

I've also added an option to include the timestamp in case you like the new style but just want to mess with the colors. This is controlled by the includeTime variable. Set it to true and you're good to go.

// set username highlight style
var includeTime = false;

No regexp link detection? tongue

BTW once you expand the chat the expand link goes away and you can't shrink it back again.

I thought they moved to getting spider silk out of genetically modified goat milk a while ago.

Although the correct link is still there in the source code this shouldn't be a problem since it has been posted publicly.

Feel free to check yourself smile

I've added the new chat log link into the script. It'll replace the old one automatically. Click above for the new version.

Holden does. I can add that feature in the user script thingy but not everyone is using it so it would be better to add it to the forum itself.

EDIT: I've added it anyway tongue

Why not make the chat log appear only after you've logged in?

Couple of scripts that censor the web and you're set. That's what I do.

Jack Reacher.

Well... it's not really a movie. It's more like a collection of scenes filled with badly delivered lines that don't really go anywhere. Also, Tom Cruise plays a character that's supposed to be 6'5"/250lb. That pretty much sums it up.

I feel like the original concept was (or should’ve been) an exploration of Tony’s awareness of his own mortality

No, that’s Iron Man 2 (kinda). They can’t really get into it because it’s already been done (very badly but it stil counts). Excessive drinking is also off the table because of  IM2.

If you don’t care about spoilers you should watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuhdjNId5xs

Not really. He lost consciousness on the other side of the portal and then woke up on the ground. I’m pretty sure he’s fine with flying. Space and portals would probably freak him out though.

And I loved Pepper saving Tony at the end. It calls back to her covering him during the attack on his mansion. It gives their relationship a dynamic that no superhero movie (save The Incredibles) has had before.

Maybe, but she wasn’t really in control of those powers. And the feminist in me took mild offence at his later assertion that he “fixed her”.  (Yes, I’m aware that I just contradicted myself…)

He ‘fixed her’ because she didn’t want any of this. Nothing offensive about that.

I totally buy that a traumatised Tony made all those other suits in order to try to get over his ordeal in New York.

I do too, I just think he should’ve only made one, and had an arc as outlined at the start of my post. It was never really made clear that his reason for making other suits was because he didn’t want to be inside the suit anymore (if that’s even the point the movie was trying to make).

That’s not why he makes the suits. He builds all sorts of crap because he can’t sleep so he builds whatever pops into his head to keep himself busy.
