Yep. Me too.

I would have been down but I've panic-packed any sort of gear to do it for a move -- a move that I've brought forward to as soon as I could make it, next Saturday, incase the country goes into full lockdown. I'll be the first to listen to it, though. smile

I would just like to give a nod to the name 'Propagandhi'.

Ooooof! Rad. That's a bit more involved than my approach of blow torching the ever living daylights outta it, sanding and sealing. Looking bloody fantastic.

P.S Nut slots are the worst. Well, guitar wise. Splashing out on a decent set of nut files was the best thing I ever did.

Wait. That's not the song tongue

Holy shit you guys, I wubs woo. My participation in this thread is on hiatus indefinitely... well until I finish moving and check the lay of the land with new neighbours and tolerance to my screeching tongue.

Torn by Nat. Imb. was a staple song in the set of my pop band back in the day, Teague. Mainly cause our singer was a dead ringer for Nat-lee Imbroogly-woogly (I refuse to say her name correctly - the memories of playing that song night by night, have scarred me too much). At 1.5x speed... yeah it does sound like that other song. I don't know if you guys had a show called Stars In Your Eyes over there, if not not, it's a Saturday night singing contest where the contestants are gauged on how well they sing like a popular singer with the added 'lets dress them up to look like the artist too' componant. Anyways, my singer did pretty well on that gimmicky thing.

I digress. Keep it up guys.

(I also did see that there is a Bille Eilish bond theme karaoke thing)

I propose the formation of a DiF choir.

Also, the year anniversary of hauling my broken guts to hospital just passed. *pulls party popper*

Fiiiiinally having an ileostomy pays off. Suck it, you toilet paper needing hoarders.

Oooof, Teague!

Youtube said no.

I mean was it that I was eating spaghetti at the time? I've seen a few social eating streams in my time. Why is this different? I can't imagine that it would be my singing that youtube blocked world wide. Surely not.

I'm sure if I rooted around long enough, I could probably find Drunken Master on VHS granted I could do nought but look at it and wonder how to play it.

Babymetal

I got convinced by a few folks I used to work with to go and see these live, and holy crap it was awesome. If you don't know Babymetal, they're a group of Japanese girls that sing and dance along to a masked metal band. I went to the gig only really casually knowing a few songs, but I left a fan.

\m/

I urge you to seek out BABYMETAL live at the Tokyo drome. You will not be disapointed. Super fun. Granted the sound is obviousely well edited, but, most stadium gigs are just pro-tool sessions these days. Though, it their energy is fun to boot.

I have only just discovered the curiosity that is Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds.

I'll say this: it is probably my favourite adaptation of The War of the Worlds. This is a prime example of my dubious musical taste, but it's a fun example of leitmotifs in a popular work. And certainly the Martians' cry of "Ulla!" is chilling and effective.

I had it on vinyl back in the day. One of the biggest regrets I have is not going to see the Jeff Wayne live show when it was going. It had a projected face of Richard Burton above the orchestra - narrating as they played. It would have been sooo good!

edit: OOOOOOOllllllllaaaaaaahhh!

edit #2: The mother fucker is touring the uk next year! I thought he was brown bread!? Or atleast last I checked, he wasn't touring.  Earth invading aliens couldn't keep me away!
