So, it's just me who doesn't have District 9, then? I'm going to have to buy it, I don't like being left out of things.

I actually have loads of dvds, I just wanted to make that Dirk Diggler gag. Just like you wanted to use that Muppets clip. And thank you for that
I want to focus on buying Blu Rays, though. I have a new job, so hopefully, if I get more hours (and cash), I can buy some more. A new microphone for recording commentaries is top of my list, though. I don't drink or smoke- yay!
Looking at these huge film collections makes me feel like I'm standing naked next to Dirk Diggler......
It's funny to read that question then immediately look at Tom Baker's face on your avatar.
That is not the order they are usually in, I had to move them so it was easier to take the photos. And I didn't really sort them in any order. The corner unit where they are usually housed is very awkward to take a photo of, this way was easier
And.........I do not own District 9! Dun Dun Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!
Ok, this is not in any way 'cool' but I was taking photos of my Blu Ray collection when the sky opened up outside, and it started raining really hard. So, I filmed it. This video has an appearance by one of my cats and my Scottish accent.
That is the most rain we've had here in a while, so I guess it was due.....
My blu rays-
Your reward is a sequel, Trey.
In related news, when I Kickstart my next feature everyone who contributes $10 gets a personal punch in the nuts/ovaries, and another for every $10 after that.
Oh, no, I'm not travelling over to America just for a punch in the nuts......
I see Doc Sub has posted a review for Brave.
Ya happy?
I am working on reviews, Mr Teague, sir! I am not the best at writing reviews so, it takes me a wee bit longer to get one right.
Oh, and why don't you post a bloody review and stop yelling at us?
The season 3 finale was one of the best I have seen in years.
A lot of season 3 was very 'meh but I still hold some hope for the 4th
Yeah, I don't really see the problem, he likes reusing his own lines from time to time, I don't think it's a crime.
The first episode of The Newsroom, however......
Well, quite a few people do, actually, it is the SyFy channel's highest rated original drama.
But, yeah, I like it
I loved Eddie's Stan Bush story, it was awesome.
And for no reason other than it was mentioned in the show......I like Warehouse 13. That is all.
I am honoured you chose this thread to post that bag of awesomneness in
Cool. I was just thinking that since we have American folks (obviously) and UK folks (as well as lovely folks in other countries), they could help recommend shows to each other that they may not have seen before. But by actually reviewing stuff, of course. I have a few UK TV shows I need to rewatch and/or finish. I may just give reviewing them a try.
People are obviously under no obligation to either review TV shows or read the TV show threads
Can it be reviews of any film, not just new ones? In case we watch something for the first time or rewatch something. Also, can we review seasons of tv shows if we finish one? Maybe as a recommendation of shows that others may not be aware of (thinking of the different countries represented in the forum). If the answer to the tv question is 'no', that's cool, just spitballing
Green Lantern was a mess, like Spider-Man 3... too many villains, too many subplots, too much going on. It felt like three movies in one.
Also, Ryan Reynolds stinks.
Ummmm....wasn't there just one villain? Maybe I blanked out watching it.
And I like Ryan Reynolds, he was great in Buried. He's not the best actor, sure, but I think he's quite charming and can be funny with the right script. But hey, each to their own.
If this included discussion of stunt and pyro work, I'd be pretty damn happy.
Ooh, yeah. I'm a huge fan of stuntwork, me.
Proof, if any was needed, that Will Smith s still a bit of a cool dude. And that everybody of a certain age knows the theme to The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air.
A record breaking music video. 18 costume changes in one single take in which the singer takes the guise of various singers, how many can you spot? It's bloody awesome-
Just watched Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance and.....umm....that happened. I have come to the conclusion that I'm not a fan of Neveldine/Taylor's style of directing. I'm sure some people do like them but they're just not for me. I was curious to see what they could do with the restriction of a PG-13 rating but I genuinely would like to see a rated R Ghost Rider film. The dude playing Roarke was fucking atrocious though, mugging his way through the film like an idiot. In fact, none of the performances were subtle but his had that extra bit of idiocy that made me wince.
Ghost Rider is one of my favourite comic characters concept-wise but I'm waiting for a good movie adaptation of him. Maybe it just isn't to be......
I'm not sure what to make of that, I wait for the full soundtrack before I pass judgement.
Not too keen on the choral parts, though.
Saw these on another site. What kind of engagement ring would you give a Star Trek fan? One like this-
Or a Doctor Who fan may like this.....
