So.I got into a rather, well...let's be honest here...excessive chain of acapella Disney covers on youtube while I was working.

Here's the highlights.

First up, the ever amazing Nick Pitera.

EDIT: Bullet....hooooooly shit that was awesome. I love when they can get tech like that into the hands of people who actually know what they're doing. Although it makes me wonder how far we are from being able to create full body (Or at least upper body) virtual sims of ourselves that can interact with a virtual environment in any meaningful way. Her movements remind very heavily of how the Virtual systems are used in Otherland. Very cool.

I haven't read the Last Battle in a loooong time, but even still the memory of it haunts me.

The entire series is like alright, this is kinda cool, you can stop cramming the metaphors down my throat, but alright. And then Last battle just loses it's fucking mind in every aspect of itself.

Got through about the first minute. Had to turn it off out of embarrassment than anything else. Like Squiggy said, nothing is off limit, this really is just horrible horrible music, like why-the-hell-would-anyone-accept-a-million-dollars-to-be-forced-to-listen-to-it-let-alone-pay-to-hear-it-horrible.

Did I lose a hell of a lot of respect for Will.I.Am (From a pool that wasn't really all that big in the first place)? Hell yes. But am I going to get angry that we continue to live in a world where someone can make this song if they wanted to? Fuck you for even suggesting it.

Oh wow, please do find that. That sounds awesome.

That doesn't make sense either. Because the only way they can force feed me is if I actually go see the damn things...which means they are reaping the rewards right then and there. If anything them force feeding me moar Star Wars is only gonna... drain...wallet..something...

This metaphor is falling apart on me here.

So wait... does that mean this is all gonna end with my gut opened on a table at Disney somewhere so someone can feast on my ultra Star Wars saturated liver?

I don't understand this metaphor at all...

Poles yes. N-gons, none. All pieces are seperate objects. It's been a little bit, but I haven't forgotten everything tongue

And yeah, I know. Like I said, I was kinda messing around with the topo while I was building, trying out different things, so it's a little all over the place. But honestly right now I'm just more concerned with learning the tools and what the hell they do, than making sure my topo is nice.

EDIT: See all nice and seperatey.

Second (well... you know what I mean) go at the Weighted Storage Cube. Model time: bout hour and a half. Still can't figure out how to get my edge flow to keep the sharp edges and smooth out the curves with this bastard, but otherwise it looks all right.

Well I was trying to be gentlemanly about it... but your math isn't wrong.

Well to add to the weirdness....

I had the netflix page for House of cards up on my second monitor last night and I kept looking at the picture of Kate on their and thinking she would be perfect as a reference point for the kind of actress to play a part in something I'm writing right now. Separate to that, I had also been using Rooney as a reference point for another character in that same project. The two characters are well...more than friends...quite a lot more than friends, if you catch my drift.

Yeah...my brain has had a hard night.

EDIT: In case you were wondering...I still haven't had time to watch any of this show yet...should probably get on that. Tbh though, been a little busy watching s5 of the West Wing.

ALL OF THEM.

Or if you wanna get more accurate. Each occurrence fans the flames of hatred in my soul, such that they have amassed into a ball of plasmatic hatred, the scope of which NML Cygni would be jealous.

I just found these guys a couple days ago and then proceeded to watch every one of their vids and laugh my ass off.

I am so fucking sick of it. Every time I hear in a movie these days, I can't help but roll my eyes and go "Seriously guys? You went there?".

I probably shouldn't, but I kinda lose a little bit of respect for the movie/filmmaker whenever I hear it these days.
