Is it mousse?

It does not.
Pity I couldn't have said it fast enough to enable a retraction, mind you.
Oh man, I totally deserve that "tut, tut".
Whizzed it down my leg, one might say.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist... Nice to see another Lebowski fan here.)
Uhhhh... I'm just gonna go find a cash machine.
(Glad to be here! I'm a huge Lebowski fan, I've even been to a few Lebowski fests here on the East Coast!)

I like you. Welcome to the forum.
Thank you!

I guess that means I'm off to a good start?

I sort of stumbled across a diamond in the rough on Netflix yesterday. My buddy and I often watch cheesy b to z-grade movies on instant and riff on them, but we watched one called "Stake Land" that turned out to actually be really good.

The name made us assume that it'd be pretty schlocky, but it ended up being a well made character story with some nice twists on vampire lore and a post-apocalyptic setting. It's a movie that's not afraid to take its time and trusts the audience, which was far and beyond anything we were expecting. It also had setups and payoffs that worked well, and questions and complaints we made near the beginning of the film were actually answered and resolved before the film ended. It actually sort of reminded me of "Monsters", but I ended up liking this even more than "Monsters." I definitely give it my recommendation.
Hey folks, my name's Luke, and I'm sort of ashamed that I'm only joining the forum now, seeing as I've been listening to DIF since 2011.
The show has really helped me look at movies differently, and learn what might be bothering me specifically and why in a movie. I honestly think I've learned more from Down in Front and Half in the Bag about films and filmmaking than anywhere else.
There's not much to say about me, so I'll just tell you that my three favorite films are The Big Lebowski, Ghostbusters, and The Blues Brothers.
