Have a read, pick the character you'd like to play and let me know. I'll update the cast list accordingly. As per BDA's suggestion, if we have 2 people vying for the same role, I'll get each interested party to send me a short audio audition.

I've listed everyone who's expressed interest in a particular role. We have a few contenders for some of the meatier roles. May I suggest gladiatorial combat to determine the winner? An audio clip would be a less cool alternative.

ON AUDITIONS: I was thinking if you are one of the people that will need to audition, that you pick maybe 3 bits of dialogue of your preferred character so I have a basis of comparison?

NOTE: If you don't specify what role you want, you might end up with a one-liner or possibly not making the cut. Lock in early if you want to chew some scenery!

I'd be happy to concede Austin right now, I don't have the time for that big a role right now anyway.

I'll read the story and see which of Charli or Jimmy I'm more interested in.

Maybe me and ol' Saniss will have to do an old fashioned trial by stone or something.

I think you could probably do both. The Sailor has literally one line.

If there's anyone here who has not participated in one of these yet and would like to do either of these roles, let aural know. I adore being a part of these things but would stand down if someone who hasn't had a turn yet is itching to get in the game. That said, I was a Boy once; this is the part I was born to play.

Yes, please. As mentioned above, maybe about 3 lines of dialogue (or more if you want) from the character you want to play so I have a basis of comparison.

BDA, you had mentioned earlier that you might want to try Gustav (I think). Are you auditioning for that, too?

I won't be able to record until Friday for a high quality sample. Otherwise, I can turn out something basic with my laptop mic, but it isn't great, and I wouldn't record the performance with it.

What lines do you want read?

I'm not going to have a chance to record anything until next weekend (i.e. the 12th) so in lieu of derailing this whole thing I'll bow out of the running and Tomahawk can take Austin.
