I would agree that Vaughn did what he had to do to make those books movies, but in the end I preferred the book on both counts. Kick Ass especially made some decisions that were odd, and hamstrung the third act I felt.
You guys have been talking about recording for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, but what about Edgar Wright's previous films, Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz?
Cor if only you knew somoene who was in SotD =P
Were you a zombie extra in SotD, Faldor?
Scott Pilgrim would be great. I think it would be an interesting listen going by the brief opinions you gave on a recent commentary. I'd like to hear you talk about Escape From New York.
How about Last of the Mohicans?
I recently saw 2007s stardust. I was very pleasantly suprised. I thought it was some kind of Harry Potter knock off, ala Percy Jackson. It was not and was written by Neil Gaiman. Love to hear this one.
+1 Hackers
Oh yeah, definitely. It is meant to be.
Welcome to the forums.
I really want to do X-Men when we get there.
Man, not much love for the Incredibles... I thought you guys would eat that right up.
No no, we're doing that just as soon as we can get Trey in the chair.
You guys NEED to do Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan. It's the best Trek film ever, and I'm hungry for more of your commentaries set in the Federation after listening to the episodes on Star Trek: 2009 and Star Trek VI.
How about Total Recall at some point? it's my favorite Arnold flick.
If nothing else it'll give you a chance to talk about how you turn a 5 page story into a 2 hour film
Big Trouble in Little China.
that is all.
