Teague, you do pie charts wrong. But that won't stop me from donating.

Not really a pun but doing this would at least have Hogwarts show up in searches.
#FIYHogwarts
You crazy, awesome bastards. This is gonna be amazing
What things do you need for the "price-y" portion of the show? I have decent microphone stands with pop screens and things like that, that might be cheaper to ship to you, than to donate and have you buy or rent yourselves if that's the hardware stuff you're looking for. If not I'd be happy to donate cash if it's for the food and other day of stuff. Any idea how much you're looking for?
The most modular thing we need is better headphones. Five matching sets, ideally, with cables 8' or longer.
Does the Harry Potter Alliance know about your plans? Because HP+Charity is totally their thing and they do fundraising pretty seriously. http://thehpalliance.org/
How about an Amazon wish list or something? We all know your shipping address already.

We discussed this internally quite a bit. Without going into much detail, we liked AMF because they can't be beat in terms of bang for your charity buck. Several independent agencies list them as the least amount of operational costs per donation. We like the HPA and they do great work, but for this particular go around, AMF was our pick.
Actually it looks like they help promote fundraisers, not just for themselves. We'll definitely be contacting them.
This is amazing. Count me in.

Punning all three things at once is gonna be tough...
No getting creepy about Hermione Granger until Deathly Hallows, Trey.
I will continue to leave that to others.

I believe the proper title is Tyler Perry's What Are You Doing, Malaria?
Tyler Perry's What Are You Doing, Malaria? A Novel By Sapphire
Curse you iJim, you beat me to it. Though it should really be
Tyler Perry's What Are You Doing, Malaria? Based on the Novel Push By Sapphire
Christ. You're right. *hangs head* I have a fever of 101. I blame that.
Wait. I"M INVOLVED IN THIS?!
Wait. I"M INVOLVED IN THIS?!
Yeah. Didn't you get the memo?
Also, I go to work and you guys go and pull this? Super stoked (even though not an HP fan) and am amazed at you guys.
Slightly bummed that during Christmas time I am stuck at work so I will do my best to do the supporting before the thing.
Also, the donation link on the page is now active.
Just in case you get antsy.
Also, Zarban (the website) is an official sponsor of the event, by way of a generous donation to the Making It Happen fund. All hail Zarban.
Zarban (the man) remains of dubious intention.
Could a "depose Zarban the despot" website also be a sponsor? I'm asking for a friend.

Yeah, I meant for promotion not for donation. HPA hates malaria as much as anyone else and have social-media-fu. If you're really lucky it might even get the attention of Hank and John Green, who are also Harry Potter fans and malaria anti-fans.
I'd send the word out to HP fan sites. I remember Mugglenet being a big deal when the books/movies were still coming out. I think they have a more general site for multiple fanbases now but I can't remember the name. Anyway, news in the Potter fandom is so slow these days that they'd probably write a story about the marathon.
EDIT: It's called "Hypable"
Also, on the schedule it says that you're doing Intermission recordings in between every movie. That's just...wow. Wow, guys.

In related news, if you wanna help me get started on the production side of things, there's a thread for that over here.
Will there be an option to add lower third titles to the video feed? I'm thinking about how you plan and schedule the 24 hours, and how drop-ins will know where you're up to, what's next, etc.
Will Eddie be doing HP themed cooking? A couple of 10 minute cooking segments would give you some good filler content. Make the recipe available on the HP microsite, etc.
