Re: "Extended Edition" Community Podcast
Bit of both
And calling it a eulogy is harsh, but yeah. I've got all week available, so it's really up to all of you to agree on a time.

Sounds like a great idea! I'm cooped up in the library all week so I might be able to stop by at some point depending on timing.
Well, if the cast is a big one, then yeah, we'll definitely go live.
Extended Edition - 089 - The Friends in Your Head Eulogy Part 1
Great - just nice to hear Teague's thoughts on the DIF(redacted)/FIYH podcast.
NOW LIFT UP YOUR SKIRT AND SHOW ME YOUR JUNK - very much peaking behind the curtain, things.
Having put my stories up online, I can relate to the confusion of reader/listener numbers. They often make little sense, and can send your ego into unhealthy gyrations. I still think Patreon is a way to go, especially as you do have a core audience of a few hundred. Even with just a handful of episodes a year, it would help pay for the forum.
Fun episode. Always nice to hear what content makers think of their own content.
And, Teague, while I know it is painful to listen to TPM and the other older episodes, but TMP is still one of my favorites that you guys did. Thanks for sharing!
Woot!
And, speaking of TPM and Teague:
And, speaking of TPM and Teague:
TPM? What does Spork have to do with Star Trek?
This sounds like a great idea! count me in.........oh, wait....awwww.....
oh, wait....awwww.....
Sorry Jimmy
and for those of you who didn't watch the video on you tube here's the rest.

Extended Edition - 093 - Star Wars Celebrations 2015
Extended Edition - 094: 'Star Wars: The Phantom Menace' Commentary!
We've finally done it - we've recorded a film commentary! And keeping in tradition with FIYH and Title TK Podcast, it's another bloody Phantom Menace one! We've decided to do one each month for every Star Wars movie leading up to the release of Episode VII (with a break in November, 'cos WHOvember is a thing now). So if you're not sick of Episode I commentaries by this point, give it a listen!
It's also our second anniversary this week, happy birthday to us!
Good things come in threes, right? Can't wait to listen to this!
Can't wait to listen to this!
You actually get a shout out at one point
Listening right now. On the bad editing of the Force speed: I didn't realize that power was even a thing until a year or so ago, it was so unclear what happened. I assumed they'd Force-leapt up a vent or something.
That was a lot of fun guys.
Although hearing Darths and Droids described as a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, but like Star Wars, made me cringe. Have none of you heard of RPG's before? /FriendsInYourDungeonRepO'erHere
Though, that's technically how they started it out, as mocking the DM as basically taking a D&D campaign and adding in futuristic sounding things, such as laser swords and the like.
I'll have to listen to the podcast, but I think its more accurate than you give them credit for.
It's been a while since I read the early panels, but I'm fairly certain it's not set-up as a D&D campaign with sci-fi elements. I'm fairly certain it's either a custom campaign/ruleset that they're GM made up, or is a new rpg that got released... dammit, I'm gonna have to go look this up.
EDIT: I thought so, from the FAQ.
"It's deliberately vague and unspecified. There are elements of several different games in it, plus some stuff that we just plain made up. So either imagine it's some fictional commercially available system, or call it a home-brew system."

Part of it is original GM material, but part of it is mocking elements from D&D, such as the weapons list.
Obviously, the campaign evolves with the story and becomes its own thing, but how it started and where it ended are two different things-like Red vs. Blue
Not to hijack the thread...
But mocking elements of RPG's/D&D is one thing, but it's NOT a D&D campaign that got converted into a sci-fi thing. It's it's own ruleset, own campaign, own story.
D&D is like a specific thing with like it's own ruleset and characters and world.
I agree, and concede the point. But, you and I (and others here) know what an RPG is. Not everyone does.
Oh well, they both can be abbreviated to D&D
