Just had some end of the world drama here in Annapolis, MD! 70,000 people lost power tonight, after 4 transformers exploded (or a magical Mayan catastrophe) in the area. It was kind of wild actually. The sky was flashing very brightly, in different colors. It was very odd-looking, to me at least. I've never seen that before.
That's the same thing I saw from my house around 9PM. Anyways, my power is now back on and it seems like everything is going back to normal (apart from the blustery storm), but for a few hours there a lot of people actually thought it was the end of the world.
My girlfriend was working at the local mall when the power blew and she said everyone started freaking out.
Well, who knows, maybe the apocalypse has started, here in Annapolis. It is, after all, the former capital of the United States (1783–1784)...

Sam: you have to remove the "s" from the "https" in order for it to register.
That video is pretty crazy though.

Congratulations, Dave! Looks you're going to get an adorable human.
Despite the apocalyptic rainstorm my town is experiencing, I managed to throw recklessness to the wind and settle down and write some papers for finals. I thought a college campus would have at least one party to celebrate the End of Days. I was wrong.
