Re: Pick the Big Six
There's nothing in the rules that says we can't campaign, so I'm doing it. Unforgiven FTW!

This is madness!
If there's a tie (and I'm not saying there is, because I definitely haven't been taking notes and tallying votes), what will you do? Lightning round vote?
We'll cross that stream when we get to the roof.
The "top 6 vote-getters" are what they are, whether or not any are tied. The only (unlikely) issue would be if there's a tie specifically for 6th place, that would require a run-off.

But it's early yet... and CNN is now predicting Virginia will go to The Dark Knight...
1. The Dark Knight
2. Transformers 3
3. Batman Returns
4. Kick-Ass
5. Who Framed Roger Rabbit
6. Battlefield Earth
1. Battlefield Earth
2. The Happening
3. The Dark Knight
4. Unforgiven
5. Citizen Kane
6. The Last Airbender
If we already posted our lists does it mean we can't "vote" again? Kind of thing we SHOULDN'T since it wouldn't be right to do so as it would just stack the deck. Just my opinion.
You can always edit your existing post, if you've changed your mind about anything.
Or create a new account with a different name and post the same list again.
True... only then can we start to achieve the level of accuracy of American Idol, or the People's Choice awards.
And the winner, as selected by a tiny group of obsessive-compulsive lunatics, is...
Campaigning?! OMG
You guys. You guys. Please let me tear LAST AIRBENDER a new chakra.
1. The Dark Knight
2. The Last Airbender
3. The Wizard of Oz
4. Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
5. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
6. Kick-Ass
I was thinking of voting for The Happening as well, but that would be too much Shyamalan. Best taken in small doses.

I must admit, the sole reason I didn't vote off Airbender before we opened the voting was because I know Dorkman wants to cover that one sooo much. I give not a rodent's patootie about it myself, but I'm sure curious to find out what the big deal is...

Pretty Please...
There's also a Walken story in it for ya, if we do Batman Returns... just sayin'

Trey's promise of a Walken story has launched Batman Returns into the top 6, narrowly nudging out Unforgiven, the candidate that he promised his support to! Things must be tense over at Unforgiven HQ right about now...
I saw Walken at the Arclight the other day!

Also I changed my #4 to Unforgiven.
