And it's shaping up to be a bloodbath.
Is that a reference to the impending exit of that kidney stone ?
Any live shows this week? I have a new laptop and I could join the chatroom but have to know which day it is
No new recordings until 2012, but releases will continue on schedule... unless Teague has too much eggnog and forgets.
Or y'know, the world ends or whatever.
Since everything is on hiatus till 2012 I'll just say <Generic pleasantry pertaining to your specific holiday> I hope you all have goods time with <the beings that interest you> and <the being(s) that rubs your genitals in a pleasing manner>.
Likewise, everyone have a safe and happy holiday.
Be excellent to each other, dudes.
The Seven Commentaries of Glory. I like that idea. Like they'll be put in a special glass case someday, to be admired by guests.

Sure, first week back from the break and were off on the ironic foot of once again having to work the one day of the weekend that the recording is scheduled.
Ah well.
YAAAAAY! I was really hoping you guys would do Wrath of Khan eventually, glad it's finally happening. The Blu-Ray looks gorgeous btw.
If any panel kids have Droidmaker, there's like five pages of stuff on the making of the Genesis effect.
I know it was some old school Pixar guys. Catmull, maybe?
Alvy Ray Smith was in chargiest. Pardon while I drop some fresh, hot, knowledge.
Is the Wrath of Khan DVD you're using the 113 min theatrical cut or the 116 min director's cut?

I just watched it for the first time, as someone who really doesn't care about Star Trek. I've watched quite a few episodes, but I'm not really a "fan", so to speak. But Wrath of Khan is, objectively, a great movie.
alirghty, now that we know Airbender is next, what day and what time should we meet up to watch live?
Sunday at noon, probably. Still planning, but our default thing lately has been Sundays at noon. (Or 11, or something.)
I'll make it official when we know for sure.
Ooooh, I might be able to watch live this week! Going to have to watch the film first

Ugh. I'm skipping this one. I refuse to give my rental money to support Shyamalan's bad movie habit.
I might listen,.. but I wont be watching along.
I've not seen this one. What do you reckon, should I sample tonight or go in cold tomorrow?
skip the movie, watch the show, and imagine every possible way to screw it up
The sad thing is, it could have been worse. Quite a bit more was filmed, before it was decided to cut it down to 90 minutes, and your first thought is, "well, that's the problem! Too much was cut!" Then you watch the two deleted scenes on the DVD and see they're as bad as the rest. So, at least we didn't see the Kioshi Warriors fucked up as well.

If you started now you'd have just enough time to watch the entire series before the recording tomorrow.
Although the movie only comprises the first season's story (what story there is in the movie), so you could easily watch the first season and the film today if you were so inclined.
